Cozy spot off the busy streets. Although mostly known as a breakfast brunch spot dinner should. Lot be over looked ! We were early before our show but seated right away and given special concern with our time limits. Before our server Jon (who was superb) came over to our table the host who sat us gave us an overview of the menu. All his suggestions we followed and were blown away by the quality and flavors!!! Beautiful presentation and tasty champagne cocktails. We both loved the 4 flowers and felt very healthy drinking the antioxidant ! While we weren't able to stay for desert its on our list to return !

I come here every single weekend (almost) without fail. Service and food are the best in Key West! FOOD: I've loved everything I've ordered here so far. Here are my personal TOP favorites: - Breakfast: Goldilocks. This is an egg entree with salmon and cream cheese. Who'd have thought that cream cheese would be exquisite on the tongue with eggs! All eggs entrees come with a choice of bread but definitely go for the muffins. They give you a side of butter and their famous Sarabeth jam. You can order your own jar too to take back home but make sure if you're a visitor to put it in your check in bag. My favorite side is their blueberry corn muffin. Make sure to order extra crispy bacon! Their bacon is extra thick and long. Very good. Other breakfasts I really like: -Green and White (egg entree with green onions and cream cheese) -Pumpkin waffle. -Key West shrimp and bacon omelette -Almond ricotta pancakes - Lunch: Burger medium well with extra crispy fries. I slather on some mayo to make it even yummier. - Dinner: Sunday chicken. This is a Key West Sarabeth Exclusive. New York does not have this dish, so don't miss this one! It comes with three pieces of chicken marinated overnight and fried. Their fried chicken is so finger licking good it trumps Dions and KFCs chicken. Key west doesn't have KFC so this meets my fried chicken craving. Other side faves: - creamy delicious tomato soup - Mac and cheese is nothing you've ever tried. DESSERT: - Kilwins chocolate ice cream or Kilwins toasted coconut ice cream - chocolate pudding AMBIENCE: good for groups and couples. Music plays inside the main room. SERVICE: part of the reason we come here SO frequently is seeing the friendly faces of the waiters and the owner, Milosh. They are very welcoming and friendly.

5 Star rating alert! I absolutely love Sarabeth's Key West! Whether its breakfast or Sunday Brunch this place does not disappoint. When I come to Key West I make a trip to Sarabeth's a stop on my culinary tour. The breakfast here is extremely well executed. A breakfast must is the Almond Crusted Cinnamon French Toast with your Spinach And Goat Cheese Omelet with a side of Bacon. What really inspired me to write this review is what is only featured on Sundays, the infamous Sarabeth's Fried Chicken which I order with the Jalapeno Mac and Cheese. This combination brings all your foodie fantasies to life! That and a Key West sunset ale and you'll be ready for a nap. So next time you stop by this James Beard award winner sit back, relax and let the champagne flow...enjoy!

Very disappointed. Oozing with charm, we expected a very great southern breakfast with a tropical twist. Food was bland. We were one of the few people in the restaurant, and they would not let us get separate checks or sit at separate tables so we could get separate checks because supposedly they had reservations for every other table :(

Sarabeth's is one of my key west staples! I just can't say no! Somehow I always wander back. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all awesome! Today's visit consisted of the the farmers omelet, ham, leeks and potato. A side of the best bacon ever! And for the finale...drum role please...the almond crusted french toast.

This restaurant has an amazing ambience. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. We had goat cheese and spinach omelettes, roasted potatoes with peppers and onions, homemade sourdough bread toast, with homemade marmalade. We enjoyed sitting out on the covered porch under the fan on the patio. The service was great and the staff very friendly.

Amazing experience! Terrific service, darling building. Had the famous tomato soup and a spinach and goat cheese omelet. Fantastic! Also famous for her marmalade, the food came with a side of whole grain toast and marmalade. Champagne bottle prices very reasonable ($31). James Beard award winner and terrific service. Must visit for Key West!

Restaurants like this are what keep people coming back to the Keys. Beautiful outdoor seating, amazing food and a happy welcoming staff. EAT HERE, you won't be disappointed.

I'll start off by saying there was nothing majorly wrong with this place. The service was great and the food was good. However not too rememberable. We were the first seating during breakfast, so we chose to sit inside since the morning was still a little chilly... This didn't compare to how cold it was inside. They had the air on high and all (3 or more) fans set on high. Making our food cold within minutes, including our coffee. Which was served in over sized latte mugs. Honestly should've said something, however wasn't in the mood to be a pain. Definitely going to give this one another go when we're back in town.

We came here for breakfast one day since it was so close to our hotel and had pretty high reviews on Yelp. We decided to sit outside, but it probably wasn't such a good idea from breakfast since many seats don't have adequate shade from the sun. Look over the menu and as with most places serving sit down breakfast in the Keys it seems everything is a la carte with the egg dishes. You want some potatoes with that? cough up a couple dollars more - it's not like the omelets are inexpensive to begin with most in the $10-13 range. I ordered coffee which comes in large, bowl shape cup - I don't like this much because it made the coffee cool too quickly because of the large opening. Not a fan of the fancy cup. I decided to get the key west shrimp and bacon omelet - I was a bit disappointed by the lack of filling if there was a slice a bacon and two shrimp in the entire dish it was a lot. I also found it a little over cooked and on the dry side. My wife's was a little better with she had the spinach and goat cheese omelet - the goat cheese help to keep this dish moist. Unfortunately this place wasn't too memorable and probably one of the more disappointing breakfasts I had in the Keys.

We must have tried 12 or 15 places while in Key West and this place was in the top 2. We came by for a late lunch and had .... well, it doesn't really matter since we had four things and all were good. No, all were excellent. We ate outside in a cool, secluded patio. Service was friendly and efficient. Whatever summery drinks they're serving when you visit, just order it and enjoy the afternoon.

Quaint breakfast place that packed in flavor to every bite. Do you want the fluffiest pancakes? Try this place. Their 5 flower juice can have Alcohol added...mind and taste buds blown. Duck bacon is an option...and the mugs of coffee are as big as your head. If you visit key west and don't visit Sara Beth's, then you didn't visit key west.

I've added a baby to the mix since my original review. As always Sarabeth's is friendly, warm and delicious. Baby Rock Star received his initiation as a seasonal local!

Awesome! A true gem. Heard the reviews and this is my 9th time in KW yet my first time here! The staff could not work harder and the chef is exceptional. Pros are food, staff and menu. The cons are the views. If you want sunsets and sailboats this not the place. Cons from one person to another can be different. If you want off the beaten path of Duvall this is the place. There are many places inKW that have spectacular views but not all of them them have the staff and the cuisine that are on par with Sarabeths. Charming attentive staff is not always easy to come Make sure you visit this place for a chilled laid back environment where the staff kicks it in to over time to make your experience a night to remember.

We had a great brunch experience at Sarabeth's! It's a quaint setting with indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside (no wait) and received great service. I ordered the salmon sandwich which was extremely fresh and filling. It was on a sourdough bread with a tasty cream cheese, tomatoes and lettuce. It came with a side of greens tossed with a refreshing light vinaigrette. My husband had the almond crusted French toast and cleared his plate! I wish I would have gotten their juice they are known for (mixture of orange & pomegranate juices mixed in with fresh pineapple and bananas). We were enjoying our iced Cuban coffees from earlier in the morning so we passed on the juice. Next time! Overall, this is a great place to pop in for brunch!

We came here because the wait at Blue Heaven was just too long. We were seated in the patio within 10 minutes, which was convenient as we had worked up a pretty good appetite after a sunrise jet ski tour. I couldn't decide what to order off their menu. From the breakfast menu, everything sweet sounded way better than the savory breakfasts (ie lemon ricotta pancakes, almond crusted cinnamon french toast), but I wanted something hearty. I ordered the Cornmeal Crusted Sauteed Shellfish Cake from the lunch menu, which is essentially a crab cake with cornmeal crust and it came with a side salad. The crab cake was okay, but nothing amazing. You would think that the cornmeal crust would give a delicious outer structure to the cake, but the crust was just ordinary. Also, the portion for $15 was on the small side. I got enticed by the corn muffin and had to order one. It was dry and did not seem fresh, despite the waiter proudly announcing I had ordered the last one. Maybe that's what I get for ordering baked goods closer to the lunch hour? Service felt like we were nearing the end of the brunch shift and the servers wanted to go home. A simple take your order, here's your food, and now here's your check. I don't have a problem with that kind of service at all, but I was vacationing in the Keys. I wanted local, friendly, personable, cheery---okay, sometimes I can be demanding. In general, there was nothing too memorable about our experience. The food seemed lackluster and the service was nothing special to get us to return. Sadly, this was more of a disappointment than enjoyable and next time I will probably stick out the wait for Blue Heaven.

We had the best experience there. The service was awesome, the staff was friendly and the food was phenomenal. It was pretty hot out (June) but there were plenty of fans. Everything was perfect and I would totally go back.

Good toast, breakfast was solid. Cool atmosphere and nice off the beaten path- a pidgeon wing touched my head, twice!

Great decision. Great food. Great atmosphere. Glad I walked away from Duval to have dinner. Ask for the Mac and cheese extra spicy.

its Alright. Servers are polite and hospitable but food lacks taste or novelty. It is overpriced. I ordered a smoked mozzarella sandwich....meh and oily...My husband got the grilled fish (mahi mahi) he was'nt too impressed either. Coffee was weak. I expect better I suppose....

The food was good, the location quaint, however the service was just so-so. The waiter seemed more concerned with turning over tables than with checking on whether we needed anything. To be fair, there was a pretty long wait. Mostly it seemed long to us because we were quoted a ten-minute wait, when in reality it was 25 (clocked from the time I checked in on Yelp to when we were seated). It wouldn't have been so bad if there were a bar where I could have grabbed a mimosa while we waited, but that's not really the setup at Sarabeth's (it's a converted house). We were seated in a small room with just three tables at a window overlooking the front patio diners. I wanted to order the cornmeal shellfish cake from the lunch menu, but since I was ordering it for brunch I asked to substitute the side salad with a fried egg. The server seemed a little confused by this though I thought it was a pretty simple request. I quaffed my mimosa in minutes and then waited impatiently for the waiter to walk by so I could order another one. He peered into the room and scanned the tables, but missed my wave both times he was within eyeshot. When I got up to ask for another beverage, a more observant server took over. My meal came with the requested egg on a separate plate and still served with snap peas and cucumber drizzled with a flavorless vinaigrette. An additional side of a different type of vinaigrette came along with it despite the absence of salad, but whatever. I was a little underwhelmed that for $15 I only received a single shellfish cake. My husband got the shrimp and bacon omelet and their side of toast was really fantastic. We were brought a check without being asked if we'd like anything else, at which time I asked if we could order their key lime cream pie. This was literally probably the ONLY restaurant in all of Florida that we went to that didn't actively try to send us off with a slice of key lime pie! Ah well, all in all Sarabeth's was fine.

It's a little tucked away in the neighborhood, but the breakfast was amazing. Servers were super friendly and the ambiance is lovely. The home made jam is where it's at, make sure you try that!!!

The best breakfast in town. Don't miss the Almond crusted French toast or the Goldie Lox Omelette.

A very different place. A old house converted into a restaurant. A nice break from Duval Street, but only a block away. The waitress did mess up our order and my wife's food came well after the rest of the family was done eating, but they made it right with a free desert and a glass of wine. It seemed they were a little understaffed, but everyone was very friendly. I would go back the next time I am in Key West.

A tasteful change to our usual GA breakfast. The Omelettes are definitely worth a stop by, and the muffin with marmalade was a treat as well!

My boyfriend and I came here for brunch on his birthday this past Sunday. All of the staff members were extremely nice, friendly and helpful. They answered all of our questions and made great recommendations. Their champagne cocktails are AWESOME! The portions were large and you definitely get what you pay for. We sat outside and loved the fact that we were covered by trees and also had two fans blowing on us since it was super hot that day. Very perfect and relaxing spot. We will definitely be coming back :)

This place gets good reviews, so we tried it for breakfast and the food warrants it. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes which were bright and delightful. Best part was the strawberries & wheat berries on top. Quite yummy. The coffee is full bodied and has a serious kick. A bit strong for my liking, but the milk helped. Cute dining room inside and patio dining available. Our server was great--very attentive & funny. The menu offers a unique variety of choices--omelets, a huge bowl if tasty looking oats, sweets, etcetera. I'd be more inclined to return here, and to give it 5 stars, if it hadn't cost more than $30 for two of us to get breakfast. I realize it's Key West. But folks, we got pancakes and an omelet. Just sayin.

If not the best restaurant in Key West it's certainly among the best. Great service, ambiance (especially when sitting outside), wonderful food, good drink options, and killer dessert. We ate both dinner and brunch here and enjoyed them immensely. If you're in Key West and looking for something a little nicer than the typical laid back island style places then go here! The best dish by far was the whole snapper. Get it if they have it!

This place was really cute and quaint! The hostess greeted us right away and genuinely started conversation asking us where we from as she walked us to our table. I recommend sitting outside in their cute little patio, it overlooks the old architecture homes of Key West (beautiful). The energy here is really relaxing and you feel so at peace that you feel like one with your food..or maybe that's just me. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict and it was delicious! I recommend ordering an extra side of liquid crack AKA hollandaise sauce. The coffee was good too. Enjoy!

Even though we're on vacation without our kids, we decided we'd celebrate Father's Day with breakfast at Sarabeth's. We're thrilled we made this choice. Breakfast was outstanding and the service was wonderful. Many other customers were clearly locals - the servers made a point to to stop and talk to everyone they recognized. We'll definitely eat here again on our next visit.

This is my parent's favorite restaurant in KW,so we had to try it for dinner when we were here last Saturday. Showed up around 6:15 and were immediately seated. Our server was friendly and knowledgable. The restaurant is so cozy and makes you feel like you're at home. I ordered the mahi mahi, which came with coconut rice & this amazing mango/pineapple slaw. It was perfect. The skirt steak was perfectly cooked. My dad ordered the fish cakes and those were out of this world! My mother had ordered the shrimp, which she said was incredible. Ok, so then lets talk about dessert. We splurge a little. For four people, we ordered the key lime pie, the strawberry shortcake & the chocolate pudding. The chocolate pudding is probably the best pudding I've ever had. Order this. The key lime pie was very good, a little bit lighter than traditional KLP. You could definitely share this dessert. The shortcake was homemade & was heavenly. Their brunch looked amazing as well!

Here in Key West for 2 weeks with my husband, my 90 year old Mom and my 92 year old Dad, and this is our favorite spot so far! Everyone was very helpful getting us settled in a spot that we could manage with their walker and cane, and the service was efficient and friendly. And, our breakfasts were all delicious! (Split a red omelette with my Dad and still got plenty to eat.) We'll be back! BTW, really appreciated the quiet too - way too much noise at most other restaurants. It's nice to be able to have a conversation without raising your voice.

The new owner of Sarabeths, Milos, shows a commitment to his establishment. He greets and seats incoming customers, introduces himself and invites you to let him know if you are not pleased with your service. Our server Maggie was polite and pleasant. Menu items were carefully explained. There had been a modification to my favorite sandwich. Then I was encouraged to specify either version. I chose the prior version. The sandwich arrived exactly as ordered. It's a pleasure to be accommodated. Our orders were delivered quickly and we agreed that the quality was up to Sarabeth's standards. When we're down in Key West its on our list of "go to" places. Especially for lunch.

This place was wonderful!!! We've had lots of really expensive mediocre meals during our month in Key West. This was NOT one of those. The prices were medium, especially for the quality of food. We ordered Salmon and Mahi. The salmon was prepared perfect. A bit of crunch on the outside but soft and tender on the inside. The mahi looked dry but it wasn't - it was DELICIOUS. The staff is INCREDIBLE. All are attentive and super friendly. Im very particular about my customer service and this was gold star. At dinner time we asked for a side of bacon and the waiter was hesitant until he realized it was for the puppy. His comment: oh, of course, anything for our 4 legged guests. Excellent champagne cocktails and the chocolate pudding and bread pudding are devine! Thanks to everyone for a great dining experience.

A very pleasant dining experience with a friendly and responsive staff. We sat indoors due to it being a bit on the warm end outside but there is nice searing in both areas. I had the Key West shrimp and bacon omlete with 8-grain toast with the potatoes for an extra 1.50. I had the dish within 5 minutes and greatly enjoyed the omlete. My date had the farmers omlete and enjoyed it, of note the cheese in the farmers is outstanding. The jam that gets served with the toast is also quite good. All in all a pleasant dining experience with good food and a fair price.

Great breakfast/lunch. Farmers omelet is basic but cooked perfectly. Open face tuna sandwich is delicious. Four fruit juice is unique and very yummy. The breads come from Cole's Peace? And rounded out the meal very well. Homemade marmalade a nice touch.

We went for both breakfast and dinner during the course of our vacation. The waitstaff was very friendly and the food was amazing. The only negative was that they don't have a full bar. Not everyone in our party drinks beer or wine so it would have been nice for them to enjoy a cocktail with dinner. Other than that, everything was great!

One beautiful day in Key West I got some of my British friends to venture off our ship and make the trek to Sarabeth's... It is a little bit of a walk from the pier but I kept telling them how well worth it this place is (I had never been but Yelp assured me). Spotting it from a block away due to the pride flag, we approached the beautiful place which is apparently an old synagogue converted to Sarabeth's. We got there on a Saturday, it was a bit busy on the patio but it wasn't too bad inside so we were seated by the manager who is honestly the friendliest guy ever! It was nice to be at a place off of Duval St too and away from that noise. On the ship, we rarely get to have "real" food aside from in ports, and this food is beyond that, they have everything like it would be made at home, my friends were super impressed. We split the lemon ricotta pancakes, one got a burger, two of them got a club sandwich, and I got a veggie omelette with cream cheese and toast on the side. It was all fantastic. The pancakes definitely took the show though, fluffy, light, sweet, just perfection! And that syrup is amazing too. Everyone loved their sandwiches, the bread is so good there, and the turkey is like thanksgiving cut turkey, so the sandwiches are huge. My omelette was fluffy and filling, very good! The toast was great, especially with what I think is housemade jam. (try the strawberry jam on the ricotta pancakes). Prices were good considering the portions, I wish we could have taken some back with us. If I go back to Key West again, this will be my go to place for brunch or lunch for sure.

It's the staff. Namely David. He is a dream and a sweet kind presence to encounter on the corner of Simonton and Southard. In fact, he could serve me slop with his smile and I would be happy. But instead he serves me the seafood cake with spicy dressing; key west pink omelette and fat, fluffy pancakes. Not usually all at once, but he would if I asked ;) Great food and Great people? Yes.

Came for lunch at the recommendation of a friend who's a regular. We were not disappointed. It looks like the highlights are the breakfasts, but we both had lunch salads and they were excellent. Very nice service.

This place kind of came off as overhyped. Good breakfast, but nothing amazing. The ambience is nice, and I'd go early if you can (as in, in the 8 o'clock hour when everyone else in Key West is still sleeping) and sit outside. I had the four flowers juice, which was kinda like banana orange juice. I wish I'd tried a Key Lime mimosa or something more unique instead. I had the raved about lemon ricotta pancakes. The lemon flavor was really subtle and paled compared to some incredible lemon cornmeal ones I had elsewhere in previous months. My verdict is try something else. The almond french toast seemed to be popular to order amongst other patrons. My husband had the farmer's omelette, which I liked better...of course. The homemade bread was delicious and I wish I'd had more of that. Overall, a quaint place. I'd come back, but definitely try something else.

This was the worst meal during my time on the island. They couldn't split a check and the food was burnt and dry. I ordered the Mac n Cheese and it was tasteless. If you like just eating plain noodles than this is the place for you. Three others ordered strip steaks and you could tell they left it burn when they grilled it. Once the fat from the steak starts dripping they tend to catch fire and char, the black ash gave that away as well as they all were over cooked! Skip this place there are plenty of better places to eat on the island.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The food was very good and served up with a down home kind of feel to it. Parking can be a bit trouble some (again, Key West) but it is worth the effort. I came here twice and loved every bite of it. I toodled around on a scooter which made parking easier. There are spaces right in front of the building. The restaurant is a converted old style home (I want to say Victorian style, by I am far from educated in the world of Architecture...so take that with a grain of salt). Both times I was seated in the patio area, which was very quaint. I was amused by the miniture rubber duckies that floated in the small fountian. If I were a local I could see myself naming them. I know, random. If I WERE a local this would be my Saturday morning breakfast spot. Everything I ate was wonderful.

After reading the reviews, I decided to go to Sarabeth's for breakfast. I had the Almond crusted French toast, and it was excellent. If you are ever in Keys, go to Sarabeth's for breakfast. You won't regret it.

I'd been here years ago, pre-Yelp, but I had forgotten what it was all about. Sunday breakfast was an absolute delight. I have seen this place get very crowded, which usually leads to my going somewhere else - but if you get there early, around opening time (8AM) you should have no problem at all. In fact, we nearly had the small dining room to ourselves. This is perhaps the best part of being an early riser - you get choice tables at popular breakfast spots like Sarabeth's with no trouble. The typical breakfast/brunch decision to go sweet or savory is a difficult one here, as there are delectable options on both sides of the aisle. However, in this case, I felt that their sweets listed on the menu were a little more interesting than their savories, with lemon ricotta pancakes, a pumpkin waffle, and almond-crusted cinnamon French toast leading the charge. Since I have something of a weakness for French toast and almonds, it might be easy to guess my choice. And don't even get me started on my love for cinnamon - not only did I once take the Cinnamon Challenge and pass, I occasionally do it just for fun. But anyway, served with real maple syrup, apple butter and banana, all the flavors in this fluffy French toast were just so pure and forthright, with that little consistency change of the almond crust a pleasant contrast. I also got to try the pumpkin muffin. Granted, I am not a muffin expert in that I don't run around trying muffins everywhere I go. I don't have much basis for comparison. I'm not even sure I'm that crazy about muffins in general. But to me, this pumpkin muffin was, for lack of a better word, incredible. Once again, it had such a pure, real pumpkin flavor to it - not at all overly sweet - and was warm. Oh, I should mention the Four Flowers Juice. It's a mix of orange, pomegranate, pineapple and banana, and it tastes a bit like a fresh fruit smoothie. While this juice is rather expensive at $4.50 a glass, it hits the spot on those steamy Key West mornings.....so I'm thinking most are probably going to want to try it. I've never been for lunch or dinner, but now I'm a little curious to see what Sarabeth's can do later in the day.

This place is great. Get reservations and you will be happy you did. Just like Seven Fish, the other great place, you'll need to make them. However, you have to show up in person to put yourself on the list, and they'll call you when your table is almost ready. Food, service, and location are all splendid, and make for a nice, romantic and enjoyable dinner. I can't think of a single negative, honestly. Aside from the wait and no reservations, hence the 4 stars.

Situated just off the main drag lies a sunny yellow Victorian, filled with quaint and cozy charm. Sarabeth's is open for all meals, but if you want a spot for breakfast, I'd suggest coming early or making reservations. Arriving just when it opened, we were given a comfortable booth towards the back of the main room, where I was able to pleasantly waste some time leafing through their selection of books (there is one cookbook they had I'm now determined to track down). The breakfast is pretty wonderful, offering some of your standard options along with some less commonly seen items. For a unique drink that is a great change over your typical oj, get a glass of their four flowers juice. A combination of orange and pomegranate juices blended with fresh pineapple and banana, it's light and incredibly refreshing. They do offer real maple syrup, and along with it you can get some incredibly delicious fat and fluffy french toast, a pumpkin waffle, or some lemon ricotta pancakes. My dining companion went with the almond crusted french toast (with came with a heaping spoonful of apple butter), and was generous enough to let me steal a bite or two. I must admit it was some of the best I've had anywhere! Thick and crunchy, I almost wished I had ordered my own serving. Since I'm not much for sweets in the morning though, I instead had opted for their Key West Pink Shrimp and Bacon Omelet, which came with scallions, herbs, and smoked mozzarella. As a savory morning person who has had plenty of omelets in my time, I tend to be incredibly picky. Too thin, overly salted, overly bland, not cooked quite right, there is a lot that can go wrong. Sarabeth's though did everything right though, baking the herbs and bacon into the egg, rather than just throwing everything into the center so it all comes out when you cut into it. It was a perfect golden yellow and a very well-balanced composition that I would highly recommend for the morning egg-lover. Alongside my omelet I got one of their pumpkin muffins and a serving of homemade marmalade. Stuffed with raisins and sprinkled with sunflower seeds, it was moist and flavorful. You could really taste the pumpkin and it wasn't overly cloying, a sure success (even if I'm not the biggest raisin fan). The muffin was also warm throughout, indicating it may have just been freshly made, something I appreciated even more after an incident with a half-cold muffin elsewhere. With warm and attentive service, a relaxed atmosphere, reasonable prices, and great food, Sarabeth's is one of your best bets for a morning meal (although if their lunch and dinner is anywhere close you'll still be in for a culinary delight) in Key West. I'm not going to say they'll blow you away with their creativity, but it is a huge step above the other breakfast options in the area, and they execute the dishes they offer quite well. Go early and go often!

Despite some enthusiasm elsewhere, this is no more than an average tourist spot. Service was ok. My french toast was not properly prepared--the bread was not even warm, and was fluffy and undercooked. With so many local alternatives, this is no standout.

Should change name to " Sarahbi--h's! Hostess is a mega snot . Walked up to look at restaurant for breakfast with friends and peek inside first before deciding and it was totally beneath her to accommodate. Very rude.

Really expected more based on the yelp reviews. Had the Lemon Ricotta pancakes, which were surprisingly dry. Bacon was lean but meaty. Fellow diner liked the french toast. The homemade pumpkin muffin in the shape of a fish was a nice surprise. Coffee OK but nothing to write home about. Maybe better for lunch or dinner? Cute restaurant with cheery colors and outdoor seating although with the ceiling fans on, it was just as comfortable inside. Sever was nice and prompt.

Great brunch. Really good omelet, delicious pumpkin muffin, huge cup of coffee! Ambiance is perfect for brunch as there is a good amount of outdoor seating, and it is all shaded by large umbrellas. Friendly staff.

Sarabeth's does have it all. Outstanding food, awesome and personable service, great atmosphere and fresh juices. It really doesn't get better than this. My wife and I have probably been here 6-7 times and it is always a must go when we are in Key West. We have never had a bad meal or experience. We usually end up going for breakfast but we are definitely looking to give lunch and dinner a try. To recommend some dishes - I would say go with anything, you will not be let down. Everything is fresh and contains high quality ingredients. Either way I will recommend what we have had. No specific order, as mentioned before you will not go wrong. 1. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes 2. Pumpkin Waffle 3. Green and White Omelet 4. Spinach and Goat Cheese Omelet 5. Almond Crusted Cinnamon French Toast 6. Turkey Sausage 7. Four Flowers Juice As mentioned before I am looking to go there to give dinner a try and from what I have read the fried chicken is the dish of choice. Since it is Sunday today, my family may find our way there this evening. If there is a downside to Sarabeth's I would say it would be minimal change to their menu throughout the years, however when you make awesome food like they do, it really doesn't matter. For those that have not been to Sarabeth's you have to go.

Comfortable breakfast spot for outdoor dining at the perfect distance from duval street. Food served impressively fast even when busy.

Going to Sarabeth's is one of the highlights of my visit to Key West. I'm from San Francisco, so I'm spoiled for access to good food. But the meal I had at this restaurant was just divine. Everything from the welcome at the front gate to the desert had us all feeling so pampered. You haven't had fried chicken till you've had theirs. And the service is impeccable. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Dinner on a Friday night. Not too long a wait, but the threat of rain may have helped that. Polite and friendly maitre d' (probably the owner) and wait staff. The outdoor seating is pleasant, very quiet for being just one block off Duvall. Now if only the fare was a match. The food was ok, not inspiring. They were out of one of our salad selections, so just brought a bread basket substitute without letting us know upfront. The wine list was extremely short, and not anything exciting on it. No liquor. I would normally give this type of meal two stars, instead of three. But from what I have read here, Sarabeth's sounds like it does much better at breakfast and lunch, and really, how many restaurants that serve breakfast do a really good job at dinner?

A gem in Key West. I went here with my wife and another couple for dinner. We enjoyed it so much that we went back for breakfast. We sat outside both times, which is really nice. It is on a relatively quite street in Key West. Really charming little neighborhood. For dinner, the salmon was great. Perfectly cooked. I also had the bruschetta which was different than any other way I've had it. It was basically a few slices of toasted bread with a big mound of marinated tomatoes on top, rather than placed individually on the bread, so it was more of a platter than a passed app. Very good. For breakfast, I had the farmer's omelet; leaks, ham, potato and gruyere. Very good. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the food is great, but my favorite part was the outdoor seating area. Such a cool little place. I could hang there and drink wine all day.

A bit disappointed with the menu selected selection and the fact that the shrimp cakes and crab were all out from a day ago... I ordered the fresh mahi mahi and that was pretty bland and had no flavor.., I ended up switching my entree with my friend and ate the salmon Cobb salad ad that was very very good... We also had the sourdough bread with jam and it was really good as well. The flower juice is great! But very little in quantity.

I really had my heart set on the lemon ricotta pancakes so badly that a few weeks before, I made my own from scratch at home and they came out awesome. Well, I decided to chance it and ordered the Spinach And Goat Cheese Omelet, while my husband ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. I'm so sad to say that my omelet was not great. It was really tiny and the egg tasted like GFS Liquid Egg or Egg Beaters. The side of potatoes may have added up to half a potato. My husband's pancakes were okay, but so uniform in appearance that reminded me of cafeteria pancakes from high school. I walked away feeling like I missed something. The service was really good, the coffee was fine but breakfast was...off. Perhaps another visit with different menu items? Perhaps. But because I belive there is more, I will return for dinner. Sarabeth's, show me that JoJo F. was wrong! I will be back...

We came here for lunch while in Key West. The owner, David, greeted us when we arrived. He also had us try the four flower juice, which was absolutely amazing! Service was also impeccable. The food lived up to and/or surpassed our expectations. We had the crabmeat and shrimpcake salad and also had the seared tuna. Both were tasty and cooked perfectly. I think the crabmeat and shrimpcake was my favorite. It was just so flavorful and the accompanying salad was fresh and crisp. I only wish that there was more because it was that good! [They have a smaller late lunch/mid day menu - we would have loved to have their breakfast and/or dinner.] We will be back. Do note that they do not take reservations unless you are a party of 6 or more.

Walked here from the Westin! Beautiful, quant little place with an outdoor patio. Quiet and covered with trees and birds chirping. I ordered the porridge (oatmeal) with all the toppings - milk, sugar, butter, berries, bananas, and honey, which they happily brought on the side. BF got the Goldie Lox omelette, which came with a choice of bread (we ordered pumpkin muffin) The porridge was delicious and hot. Loved being able to customize it. The omelet was very good! Full of salmon. The pumpkin muffin was a bit on the dry side. They don't have cappuccinos so we got a coffee, which was OK. We also got their 4 fruit juice, which was really yummy.. I believe half of the fruits in there are squeezed fresh. It wasn't a huge serving though, so if you're sharing you may want a bigger one.

Stumbled across this wonderful place killing time before we left town...great service and atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating...we sat inside due to time constraints. I had the Goldie Lox and 8 grain toast...my husband had the Red Omelet. Both dishes were cooked perfectly and scrumptious!!!!

I'd really give this two stars if the company and service weren't so good. The food was totally mediocre, the desserts (especially the chubbie, dry and boring) was worth returning...not worth $3 let alone $9! I was disappointed. The fish was fresh and everyone seemed to enjoy the fried chicken, but the menu was nothing like it was online. Will not go back

Overall, I was disappointed with this place. It got great reviews, but the food is expensive and plain at least for breakfast. Granted, you can't do a ton with your standard omelet, but if you aren't going to be special, don't charge more for it. The service was good and the setting was nice, but I was underwhelmed by the food.

This has become our favorite place to have Lunch and Dinner. Dave and his staff are terrific they make us feel like old friends. All the food is fabulous and the wine list is good and very reasonable. Try the Felino Malbec, $38.00 and is great. Highly recommend you fit in a minimum of one meal here during your stay in Key West. I have yet to have the Fried Chicken, everyone says it's amazing, I wouldn't know since everytime I go they are already out of it. Dave you need to start making more fried chicken on Sunday!

Sitting at the table and was so impressed had to review immediately. Quaint atmosphere with extremely fresh food. Service is professional and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the pink shrimp smoked mozzarella and bacon omelette with sour dough bread. Great coffee and fresh juice. This is a must. My husband had the lox breakfast and is smiling from ear to ear. Thank you Sarabeths for the perfect start to the day.

Really I'd rather give this place a 4.5 stars, but it isn't possible. I've been here twice, for breakfast and dinner. For dinner I had the key west shrimp in a brandy lime sauce which was awesome, served with a perfect jasmine rice. The bread pudding w/orange&apricot was awesome too. Shrimp cakes were ok, nothing amazing. Breakfast food was very good, but I've had better breakfast in Key West. Overall this place is DEFINITELY worth trying.

One of two best restaurants in Key West. Great fried fish with arugula salad for dinner. Also great place for brunch, its a must! Their jams are the best and you can buy a jar to take home.

I was so excited about eating breakfast here but being a nurse, I had a call of duty as a woman got hit by a truck while riding her bicycle and a woman fainted in front or the restaurant while we were dining here. I was unable to finish my breakfast but I'm glad I was able to help these people during their time of need. I had the shrimp and bacon omelette...delicious!

Sarabeth's is a must stop while in the Keys. Great atmosphere in an old house with nice porches. The owner is on site and is very personable and really wants to make sure that you're happy. Service is quick and efficient. We've been for both breakfast and dinner and enjoyed both. For dinner, don't missthe Old Fashioned Fried Chicken (served Sundays only). It is moist and crispy and is accompanied by mashed potatoes and slaw. Very nice. I've also tried the Green Chili Pepper Mac and Cheese. Aged cheddar, mozzarella and Parmesan cheese with roasted poblano peppers. Yummy! Just the right consistency. The Red Omelet is a good choice for breakfast. Cheddar, and a sauce made with tomatoes and peppers topped with sour cream.

My family had a great experience at Sarabeth's Reataurant, specifically we loved the menu. The restaurant provided a very charming and intimate atmosphere. Our favorite dishes were the mahi mahi and the crab cakes. Sarabeth's was very reasonably priced for the level of service and quality of food. I highly recommend trying Sarabeth's.

This is our favorite breakfast restaurant in Key West. They have a nice outdoor eating area where we can have our dog join us. The staff is excellent and the service is always good. Maggie is our favorite waitress. We split the goat cheese and spinach omelette. The salsa it is served with is so good. The 8 grain bread with the marmalade is delicious. Today we tried the turkey sausage. It was spicy good. We will definitely return.

When you're looking to get away from all the leatherheaded, Key West pirates, Sarabeth's offers a respite fit for the Hamptons. This daytime nook off Simonton Street is as quaint as it gets for Oprah approved eats. Sarabeth, unbeknownst to me, is quite famous for her baking and acts as the self professed "queen of bakedom." The first location, Sarabeth's Kitchen, set up shop in NYC's Upper West Side, and became known for the homemade jams and baked goods. After much success in Mile 0's northern opposite, Sarabeth and her business partner copied their operation due south. As can be imagined, anything sweet on the menu is pretty delicious and the key lime pie (light, fluffy and custardlike) is as good as it gets. Awesome spot for a gourmet brunch with an accompanying mimosa.

We were greeted by the host, and he was incredibly nice and enthusiastic (must be the owner). We really felt welcome. We got the open-faced tuna sandwich and the lemon ricotta pancakes, followed by their key lime pie. $9 for a small piece of pie is a little pricey, but it was really good. There appeared to be a bunch of regulars who kept streaming in, and knew the host by name. So, that says a lot too. Best of all, it's on Simonton so there's less tourist trash.

Super lame. Nothing special, not worth the hype. Nasty waitress, very plain diner food quality breakfast. Even the jam was nothing special. Will never go back not worth the can fare . Huge disappointment.

Surprisingly... I loved this place. I have been to Sarabeth's of New York and felt a little concerned about this location. It just didn't make sense to me... Sarabeth's in NY to KW? But immediately, we loved this Sarabeth's too! We sat outside and loved being able to people watch while we enjoyed Sunday brunch. The food was delicious, the coffee was outstanding--I didn't even need to add sugar! And the service was great. We absolutely would come back again and recommend you give Sarabeth's of KW a try!

I should not have been lured to eat dinner here based on all the stellar brunch reviews. Let's face it - omelet's, pancakes... they're kinda hard to mess up. Dinner is a whole other ball game, and quite frankly I was pretty disappointed. We did visit on a Sunday when they serve their highly acclaimed fried chicken.. but having lived in the real south, and eaten some of the country's best award winning fried chicken, I was not going to be convinced that ANY fried chicken in Key West, much less Florida, would be on par with that of the Carolinas, Tennessee, & Texas. We got the Green Chile Pepper Mac & Cheese to start, which in and of itself deserves 5 stars. I don't ever want to eat Mac & Chese again unless it tastes like this. A good kick, but not too spicy. For being listed as an entree and not an appetizer, the portion was rather small, and it wasn't offered with any side items. Thanks to the Skirt Steak, I was reminded that Parsley really is best as just a garnish. Definitely not worth $23. I ordered the salmon, which came severly undercooked. I was used to this in Tennesse - I assumed being in a land-locked state that seafood was like a foreign language there. But to get salmon, in Key West, medium rare, was surprising. * Hey Restaurant Owners!! Just because I'm ordering seafood doesn't mean I like sushi!! * Our waiter was accommodating, and sent the dish back for an up-cook. The restaurant is very charming. And it's a nice departure from the tacky touristyness that is Duvall St. Perhaps they're brunch is delicious, but they're dinner is overrated.

Sarabeth's pails every high end breakfast experience when I'm from in the OC. I think the food here was better than NYC. Every time Ive had Sarabeths in the city it was always so hurried and kinda thrown together. This was thoughtful in the Southern way. The eggs with green onions, the potatoes, the famous homemade preserves, ahhh... the lemon ricotta pancakes are something I wish I could put a months supply in my suitcase. If you dont like pancakes, I promise the lemon blueberry ricotta pancakes will do you so right. The service was very professional and the coffee was much better than a lot of the Cuban coffee we had overall. Will try lunch/dinner next time, how could it be bad? I would go back again and again, sigh....

What a good find. Visited here for lunch Wednesday and enjoyed the super-fresh Cobb salad and shrimp salad. Nice wines by the glass as well - some good pours that are too often missing from other restaurant's wine selections. Good service and nice atmosphere. We will be back! Thanks!

We went for dinner near the end of the night, not too long before they closed. They waiter was polite, attentive and never made us feel rushed. Everything on the menu sounded delicious and the two entrees that we chose did not disappoint! I wish that we had time to go back to try their brunch because I think that would have been great, too. The ambiance, food and service here all make Sarabeth's a worthwhile dining experience in Key West

Another great Yelp find! Never would I have discovered this excellent charming brunch spot if it wasn't for Yelp on my mobile. I looked for the highest rated breakfast spot on key west and up pops Sarabeth's. 5 blocks later I found my go-to brunch spot...thanks Yelpers! A great place for breakfast with friendly staff and a nice patio. Menu was eclectic..lemon ricotta pancakes, almond crusted french toast, etc. The former was a bit disappointing---nice fluffy pancakes, big portion, but nothing special--where was the ricotta I ask! My friend really dug the french toast though. Really fresh juices too, try the four flowers juice. This is a good spot if you want to get off the Duval street scene and have a pleasant and tasty brunch. Get there early....I was there at 10 and it was already filling up quickly!

Went here for lunch after getting into Key West. Not a bad place at all. There was a 45 minute wait to get seated so we walked around. Sat and it was pretty quaint. It's located near KW's business district. I ordered a side of the lemon ricotta pancakes (not bad, a little different) and a Fresh Vegetable and Ricotta Omelet. The omlette wasn't anything earth shattering, but it got the job done. I liked their potatoes, it had a kick to them. I asked to add spinach to the omlette but they forgot, so that was a bummer. The staff was very very nice and you can tell they really care about service. This place gets great reviews and deserves it.

Amazing! Stopped by here 2 times on our 2 day trip to the keys. First day my friend and I shared the almond crusted French toast, 4 huge slices and a side of turkey sausage. The French toast was fabulous, delicious and the bread was very fresh. My friend had the 4 flowers juice which was delicious, made with fresh fruit; but too expensive for such a small glass. The second day we went there was 4 of us with a huge appetite! I ordered the farmers omelet- leeks, cheese, potatoes, and ham with sourdough- very good. My friend ordered the spinach & goat cheese omelet, also very good; note you have to like strong cheese to enjoy this. My brother ordered the red omelet, which they did not have (they make a special mixture of pepppers, tomatoes, salsa and they start the process in September and let it sit in a jar for a while) so they opted to make an omelet with peppers and tomatoes with sausage, omelet was delicious. My boyfriend ordered the pancakes which brought 6! They were fluffy and flavorful, pretty good althought I would choose the french toast over the pancakes, they're more unique! And to end it all we split a club sandwhich that was SO good! Fresh turkey, yummy bacon, fresh baked bread, my gosh my mouth waters thinking about it! And it was served with homemade fries, freshly cut freshly fried and perfectly salted. Ok so now that I am starving after remembering the food here I can't wait until our next trip to the Keys to enjoy Sarabeth's. Oh wait, I almost forgot- their homemade jams are delicious we purchased a jar of the strawberry peach. They serve it with the toast, sausage, pancakes, etc. I give it 4 stars because it is a bit pricey, but if you want good food you pay a price tag!

Sarabeths is my favorite restaurant. I wish I could visit more than once per year. You can't go wrong with anything on their brunch menu. Some of our favorites are the pancakes with wheatberries; cobb salad; grilled mozzarella sandwich and any of the omelettes. The mimosas are wonderful. The breads are all homemade and are tasty with their homemade preserves. All ingredients are high quality and the food preparation and presentation is virtually flawless. Waitstaff are knowledgeable, attentive and have a sense of humor. :-) The outdoor seating is nice, but small. We usually manage to visit at a nonpeak times, so we have never had to wait for a table.

Looking for a place that serves breakfast during lunch hour in Key West is not an easy thing. Luckily Sarabeth's still serves their popular breakfast dishes during lunch. Decided to try the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and I'm glad I did. They were delicious and went great with a glass of their Four Flowers juice (orange, pomegranate, pineapple and banana). Very good food and price was decent too. Try to get a seat outdoors.

It's hard to find a place that the kids love as much as my Whole Foods shopping wife, but this place was a home run. Great Pumpkin Waffles for the kids, spinach omelette for her and a nice gueyre omelette for me. Coffee and fruit were good too.

A oasis of delight away from the tacky t-shirt shops and cruise ship crowds on Duval St. Take a short walk for a great setting and yummy food. By far the best meal we had during our short stay in Key West. Highly recommended. They've got a nice outdoor patio if the weather is nice.

Pretty little Sarabeth's housed in a former synagogue. Lovely home cooked fresh brunch goodness. Perfect goat cheese and spinach omelette and notably delicious sausage as well as a delectable pumpkin muffin. Kind service. Relaxed, quiet dining off the beaten path. Pricey by comparison but you're paying for the Sarabeth's brand.

Great, friendly service, bottomless cups of good coffee. My wife enjoyed the almond cinnamon french toast as per everyone's recommendation...so decadently delicious! I had a Farmers omelet. It was good, not great. I agree with another poster that they might use eggs from a container, as the color was kind of box yellow. But still good. On a nice day, sit outside, as ambiance does add to the food experience.

Not your typical tourist Key West spot - and trust me, that's a good thing. Although on the pricier side, Sarabeth provides intimate and upscale dining on a very relaxed and casual town. The decor is minimal, the lighting is low and the food is very simple yet elegant in flavors but not presentation. I had a beet salad which came with arugula, toasted pine nuts, feta cheese and a citrus dressing. It was light, flavorful and pretty filling. My brother-in-law had the green chile Mac and Cheese which was an absolute surprise- tons of flavor, creamy and crunchy and had the smokiness of the green chile. If you order this, I suggest to ask for spicy- the "spicy" levels that they have are really on the mild side and I really think this dish would be better with a little 'kick'. Finally, my sister's fish with coconut rice was spectacular. Though not a seafood fan, I found the fish to be cooked rather well and the coconut rice was creamy, not overcooked and packed tons of sweet coconut island flavors. I entertained myself with the little water fountain filled with rubber duckies (all in different costumes!) and was very appreciative of their dog friendly patio environment- I definitely did not expect them to allow dogs at an upscale dining place. Our server was also very courteous and friendly, however my only -1 about this place would probably be because of him. Though very nice, he was a little absent and hard to reach. I also gave him my credit card in advance (to make sure my parents didn't pay for dinner) and told him to run it once we asked for the check. Instead he ran it and gave me the receipt immediately after ordering- which felt a little rude because we could've ordered more drinks or dessert later (and it also made me look bad at the dinner table). Overall a pretty great dining experience for the food alone. Expect to spend about $30 including soft drinks/beer and enjoy!

Excellent choice for any meal. This trip we had three wonderful meals at Sarabeth's. Breakfast was outstanding. Must have the OJ. Dinner choices were the Salmon, fried chicken, and shellfish crab cakes. Mac & cheese really good. Cream of tomato soup is outstanding. Staff amazing. Will return again and again.

Now, why can't all of Key West's restaurants be this perfect? Sarabeth's was a real treat. Almond French toast was super and the key west pink shrimp and bacon with smoky mozzarella omlet was awesome. Perfectly crisp potatoes with shreds of red and yellow peppers were a nice compliment to the oh-so-fantastic entrees. Dave was a delightfully friendly guy. Service was quick and overall nice. A must try: the 4 flowers juice...when I was made aware of the no drinking before 12 ordinance (there goes my habitual Sunday morning Bellini!) I quickly moved on to my next best choice....it's awesome if you enjoy fruity smoothies! Hopefully next time I'll get to try the fried chicken everyone was talking about at the restaurant while we were there!

Sarabeth's is a true GEM in Key West. We absolutely loved it for lunch, and wish we had found it sooner on our trip! It's a bit off the beaten path- but so worth it. Set in an old Victorian style house with plenty of outdoor seating- it feels like your eating in your Grandmother's dining room. We opted for the inside seating as it was HOT and it was completely empty. Great service from the start- our server was completely available and did not make us wait for een our water to be filled. I had the grilled tomato mozzarrela sanwich- it was amazing. The 8-grain bread was a true 8-grain with lots of different seeds in it. The avocados were incredibly fresh, and the cheese was just enough without being overbearing. I loved the slaw on the side too. It was a delicious and hearty, yet seemingly healthy, meal. Definitly go to Sarabeths- it will be worth the extra few block walk of Duval!

Great Local spot, but you better either make reservations, or get their quick! A family of four spent about $50 for eating breakfast there, so that is around what you can expect to pay. We ordered 2 glasses of their "flower juice", and 4 omelettes. A local discount only gave us $3.91 off of our bill..... So those of you that are local, don't expect to get much of a "thank you" from here. You can expect a very friendly atmosphere, but not top notch quality food, or cheap crap food either. This place is "average", but the friendliness gives them a slightly "above average" score for me.

While visiting from Phoenix, Arizona, we selected this place for lunch after stopping in a shop to ask a local gentleman to recommend a lunch stop away from the touristy beaten path. We visited on a Sunday so the restaurant was still serving from their breakfast menu at lunchtime. From what I saw at neighboring tables, the breakfast options were popular and what looked like French toast with applesauce and almonds looked really good! My companion and I opted for the lunch menu: I had the turkey club sandwich and he had the tuna salad sandwich. Mine was OK but a little dry. The sandwich comes on sourdough with real sliced turkey (not cold cuts), smoked mozzarella, lettuce, tomato, a smidgen of bacon, and a thin coating of mayo. The mayo was dressed up, I think they called it maple...something...mayo. It was great to have actual sliced turkey, but a downside to that is I found a small piece of bone in my sandwich. I didn't mention it but it was a bit of a turn-off, although it certainly indicates that the turkey is real! The sandwich came with fries, which were very good. My companion's tuna salad was so pretty: it had red onions, along with red and yellow peppers, diced up inside. He said it was delicious, but it was unfortunately served open-face with a generous portion of chopped tomatoes in balsamic dressing, and the balsamic was a bit too generous. While this place was nice with friendly service, for the price we paid I would have expected something a bit more creative as far as food and flavor. I would have liked to try the Key lime pie, but at over eight dollars a serving I figured we could pass.

Enjoyed Sara eths from start to finish. The service, ambience and staff were wonderful. And the food! Oh my goodness-what's not to love. The Salmon was cooked to perfection as was everything else. A must on your dining options while your in the Keys

Dinner was excellent. Started off with a champagne apperitif -- cranberry and lime. Nice fresh bread. Shrimp with bourbon cream sauce and coconut rice with sunflower seeds...scrumptious. Finished off the meal with their warm bread pudding with apricot filling and key lime sauce. Ambiance was very relaxing...overall a lovely experience.

Really excited to go back to Sarabeth's and this visit wasn't disappointing. Our server was a rock star and really made breakfast more fun. Not crazy about the potatoes but I glazed over it because our server just kept bringing different jams over for my pancakes and she just kept us in great conversation every time she came back for a new tables drinks. Go, you won't be sorry. The service is outstanding and so welcoming.

Sarabeth's didn't disappoint, it is "A-OK"- The reason for a rating of 3 is that Key West is a unique place filled with many unique experiences. Sarabeth's dishes were all very good and if you want to have a quiet night off the beaten path of Duval Street this is a great place to go. Would I return? Only if a friend wanted to give it a try, and I go so happily. I'd prefer to try new places in Key West rather than repeating

I cannot believe how lucky we were to find such great places to eat. Huge thanks to Megan from 915 who suggested Sarabeth's for breakfast. What a treat. David, the nattily dressed owner, greeted us with a smile and a hearty, genuine hello. We sat outside within the confines of a lovely fenced in front "yard" (about 10 feet deep off the sidewalk). The fence is only a waist high white picket fence and creates a separate area in which to dine and people watch. Outdoor fans and large table umbrellas added to the southern charm. I had the "Goldie Lox" scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and cream cheese. 8 grain toast and rasberry marmalade on the side. My bride had the "Farmer's Omelette" which had leeks, ham and chunks of potato with gruyere cheese. She had the sour dough toast. FABULOUS! Okay, breakfast on day one was so good we went back. David remembered us which, while not necessary,w as a nice touch. he clearly enjoys what he does. This time we both had the Key West Pink Shrimp and Bacon Omelette with scallions, herbs and smoked mozzarella. AMAZING. 8 grain toast and the signature orange marmalade. GO. Thank me later.

Sarabeth's is solid breakfast joint with a quaint atmosphere. I had the Farmer's egg-white omelet with the breakfast potatoes. The omelet was perfect, but the potatoes were underwhelming. The homemade Sarabeth's marmalade is a winner and the bread is very good. Note: This is not a place to go with large groups; the feel is of a house with compartmentalized eating areas and it's not a set-up conducive to a large party.

My wife made this pick for dinner and could not have nailed it any better. Sunday is Fried Chicken Night and it was off the charts. Server talked her into Mahi and it was good- but not like that Heavenly Chicken. I'm telling you...if you're there on a Sunday night GO WITH THE CHICKEN!!!!! Far and away the best Fried Chicken I've ever had (thank goodness my Mom doesn't Yelp). Very moist, tender and perfectly seasoned. My Cardiologist and I are both glad I live very, very far away from Sarabeth's. Best meal I've had in a long time.

Excellent for dinner. It was after dark, so we dined inside. Lovely house: former doctor's house, then synagogue, now a restaurant with warm old wood and architectural interest. The indoor dining area has a lofty ceiling and deep built-in bookshelves with quite a few interesting volumes, which of course appealed to us. Amazing calamari appetizer - large pieces without annoying tentacles, more like tempura than anything else, with a tangy mango dipping sauce. As such, a little on the grease-infused side for me, but the squid itself was tender and very light: well-chosen. I got the last special of the evening (about 7:40 pm), large broiled sea scallops atop browned cornbread-and-fresh-corn-bits fritters, with a cold spicy corn-based salad. Perfect level of doneness, no shrinking and fork-cut tender, but not underdone, so no lip-numbing action. My husband had the crab-and-Key-West-Pink-shrimp cakes with a leafy Spring Mix style salad accompanying. Pinot grigio with that. For dessert, we split the chocolate sampler (chocolate pudding, chocolate brownie and a scoop of toasted coconut ice cream -- you can choose your ice cream flavor), which whimsically comes with a shot glass of milk as a chaser for the brownie. We could barely roll out of the establishment: next time perhaps no apps and no dessert. The coffee cups are huge, BTW. The hostess was an engaging English lady with a wonderful laugh. Our server was slight, energetic and enthusiastic, and when we ordered coffee with the dessert he made us a fresh pot: wonderful man! We will very likely be back for their legendary breakfast, soon.

A great brunch place - I had the red omelette and it was delish. The lemon ricotta pancakes were different and surprising!!

Top notch waitress service-they did not hesitate to move us inside when it looked like it would rain. Flawless transition. Excellent food and suggestions on how best to enjoy it. I could not ask for a more knowledgable staff and the food was simply heaven. Try the 4 flowers juice and the tomato soup and well...everything else. I will be back on my next adventure.

This place was great. Some of the most delicious food we had in Key West. I had the crab cakes, and they were delish. This place is off the beaten path, but well worth it. It actually looks like it could be doneones house. Stay off the strip! And check this place out.

Came here for brunch and while we've had some great dining experiences in Miami and Key West, this one takes the cake. We are still talking about their Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, months later, and the omelette was delicious. The menu is vegetarian friendly. The location is really nicely appointed, maintaining its vintage feel. David is a sartorial vision, and very welcoming. We sat outside as we had our small dog along with us. The service was impeccable: warm and friendly, and prompt. Even the other diners were incredibly kind - one table sent over some bacon for our pup! I'd never heard of Sarabeth's before, and only found out there that it had begun in NYC. From this experience, I cannot wait to visit the NYC locations next time we find ourselves there.

Good, not great. Their marmalade & pancakes were the best things I had. Wasn't impressed by the interior, but the outside eating area was cute.

The first night we ate here, we were not that hungry and just wanted appetizers and desert. Sat inside, only seven tables, but a high, soaring ceiling that made the space feel bigger. (There is another inside space too) We had the crab quesadilla and calamari. The quesadilla was define, but on the small side. The four pieces were each about two bites. Really a good flavor. The calamari on the other hand......very rubbery. Not very many pieces of squid and none with legs, so I wonder if it was real squid or not. The batter was good, light, not greasy, but the plate was mainly full of pieces of batter. I do not recommend it and I love calamari. The deserts.....apricot bread pudding and coconut ice cream. Both were good. The bread pudding was different, but good. We split it and I was wondering why they called it apricot. My BF replied there was apricot in it; at that point I got a piece of apricot! There is a version of bread pudding for every restaurant that has it on the menu. This one was full of flavor, light and wonderful. We got the ice cream because of a recommendation on Yelp. It was good-we just got one scoop and the coconut infused in it was delicious. Second night....hungry and wanted something close, so we thought we would try it again for dinner. This time we sat outside-if the weather is right, definitely eat there. Crab/Shrimp cakes (BF) and scallop special for me. Both were great! The scallops were nicely browned, great flavor and sat on top of a polenta cake. Mango sauce came with the cakes, so BF got more and I asked for some too. As the waiter recommended, the scallops did not need sauce, but it helped the polenta cakes, giving them an extra punch of flavor. Since this was our last night in KW, we had to try a KL pie. Light, fluffy, flavorful-just don't think you are going to get a normal KL pie with meringue. Go to Sarabeth's; the atmosphere and food are really top notch. Would have been a 5 star if not for the calamari. :(

Their yellowtail snapper special is the best dish on the island!! I went into the restaurant without much of an appetite and managed to gobble up the whole dish because it was so good. The fish itself was very well cooked, and the arugula salad it came with was a surprisingly nice addition to the fish. I also had one of their champagne cocktails: a sultry day, and it was great-- very light and refreshing. The beet salad was great as well. For dessert, we tried strawberry shortcake and it was wayyy better than any key lime pie that key west can offer. They basically sandwich strawberries and whipped cream in between 2 homemade biscuits. Overall, definitely my favorite place in Key West!

We really had a great lunch at Sarabeth's. The owner David sat us and was incredibly friendly and gracious. No wonder he ran a restaurant with the same name in NYC for 20 years. Great food. The tomato soup was to die for. Fresh salad... I had the turkey club that was huge. Can't wait to go back!

Amazing food and wonderful people. This was #1 on my list of places to eat in Key West and I am still patting myself on the back for such an awesome pick. We got there right as they opened and were greeted by the lovely owner. He made us feel extremely welcome as he showed us inside. Sarabeth's does not take reservations... that usually works out excellent for me and we were given a great window seat. This is just far enough off Duval that the quiet block really feels like heaven after a burning hot day. We started with the calamari and it was fantastic. The sauce was so perfect. Really. I could go on and on and get totally nerdy over how great the sauce was and how it made the light and crispy breading everything in the world it should be but I will try to contain myself. Then the amazing shrimp and crab cakes came out. Wow. So light and fresh and bursting with awesomeness. And our waiter was just as nice as the owner. Every single thing about Sarabeth's was so fantastic that I don't even want to go deep into detail. I just want to sigh and relish my thoughts of the place and thank the people there for making that the best dinner I've had in recent months.

While good, I was really disappointed in Sarabeth's. After reading the universally glowing reviews I was expecting to be blown away, and by the setting I was, but by the food I was not. Sarabeth's has a fantastic feel to it, set in a beautiful typical Key West house with huge porches. We sat outside on one of the porches and coupled with a beautiful day it was the perfect setting for brunch. The menu has some mostly standard fare on it so I was expecting perfect execution. I ordered one of the omlettes, my mom got french toast, and I forget what my stepdad got. Everything came out perfectly fine, but that was it. It was generally underwhelming and tasted like anything I could get at any other breakfast place. I wouldn't take my word as gospel, as surely something here must keep everyone from coming back. Perhaps I ordered wrong or caught the staff in a moment of weakness. I would likely return just because it's such a nice place, but next time I'll lower my expectations.

A very classy place for brunch in beautiful Key West. I got the open faced tuna salad with jicama slaw. I liked the tuna salad but would have been better without the onions. The jicama slaw was great ad something different I have never had before. Would definitely return and try something new.

Amazing service and atmosphere (very clean, cool, and classy outdoor seating). Our food was delicious - I ordered the gulf shrimp with mashed potatoes and green beans, and my boyfriend got the salmon with the same sides. Riesling was also very good. They were happy to please by seating us wherever we wanted and letting us substitute different sides. They also happily seated us right before closing. Couldn't ask for much more!

Excellent brunch spot in Key West. We had to wait a little while but were glad we did. Service was excellent, the fresh OJ and omelet I had and Sunny side eggs and bacon my husband had were delicious. We were in the mood for breakfast but noticed the turkey club the woman had next to us looked fantastic too. Would go for lunch too. Located on a charming, quiet block close to the hotel we were staying at (the Marquesa-another gem). Definitely would recommend.

The week before Christmas is a splendid time to visit Key West. No crowds and no long waits to get a table. We came to Sarabeth's for brunch on a Wednesday morning at 10. Nice cosy interiors. Try the Four Flowers juice - it is delicious, refreshing and comes in a very decent serving size. We ordered the Goldie Lox - an omelet with smoked salmon and cream cheese and the Lemon Ricotta pancakes. We also got a serving of multigrain bread and had it with the absolutely sublime Sarabeth's strawberry spread and orange marmalade. Overall the dishes were delicious, the serving size was perfect and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!

Yes, this Sarabeth's is part of the New York Sarabeth's phenomenon. One of her managers who put in more than 20 years was given license to open up in Key West. (Thank you!) It's a five star love affair with foodies. Their Four Flowers juice, lemon ricotta pancakes, an army of exceptional jams and preserves, porridge topped with fresh fruits, and their almond crusted french toast are just a handful of complete wows. Even the humble hamburger achieves something near perfection here. Is it a bit pricey? I humbly disagree with previous reviews. The ingredients alone on the plate tell you where the money is going: Quality. The service is exceptional, the food is exceptional, and the ambience of the place, which was the home of one of the Island's first mayors, seals the deal. If you miss Sarabeth's, you have missed one of the great culinary experiences of the island.

Saw the great ratings on Yelp and decided to give it a try. We started with the wild berry and black cherry mimosas.. They were delish. I got the almond crusted French toast, they're topped with a spoonful of apple butter(yum) and bananas. My boyfriend got the green and white scrambled eggs with a side of bacon and breakfast potatoes.

The staff is fantastic! Very accomodating for disabled people. They even held a table for us when I called ahead. We ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes drizzled with strawberries and wheatberries $9.75. They were nice...fresh tasting, seasoned well but a little tough. Also, the almond crusted french toast with bananas $9.75. These were delicious and much better than the pancakes. Sides of bacon and sausages at $4 each were nice, too. Everything was nice...not spectacular, but good. Service was better than the food. Meal for three with tip was $60.

My husband and I are regular visitors to Key West, but this recent trip we decided to try some different places and not just go to our old favorites. We saw Sarabeth's on our walk to the marina (to go to one of our old fave's) and we had actually seen the historic building that houses it being renovated on one of our prior trips. So, we decided to try it for brunch one day. The proprietor is the nicest and friendlies guy, there was a bit of a wait but he was honest about the wait time. I had a minty/lemonade/champagne drink to start with and it was super yummy. For brunch I had something called Goldie Lox which was scrambled eggs, smoked salmon and creme cheese it was super awesome and yummy. I also had a pumpkin muffin which I liked as well. My only complaint about this place was the wait service. And this is a problem, in general, in Key West. So many of the servers are foreign born, which is fine, but they don't speak the language well enough or don't have enough training. Our server didn't bring hot sauce which I had requested but if I had waited for the sauce my eggs would have been cold, and if I wanted a second drink I wouldn't have gotten it until he delivered the bill. Basically he took our order, delivered the food and dropped off the check, there was no follow up at any time.

Super cute brunch spot off the beaten path, although so many seemed to beat us there. Without a reservation, we waited about 30 minutes for an outside table (there was availability inside, but outside is so much nicer) and it was worth it. The service was great, attentive and knowledgable. The host was very charismatic and made every table feel like they were his personal guests. The club sandwich with smoked salmon epitomized brunch as the perfect bridge between breakfast and lunch. The brunch drinks were mainly champagne cocktails (no liquor, so no bloody mary's) and they were tasty-- esp the key lime mimosa rimmed with powdered sugar. Very tart, very fresh. We'll definitely stop by again on our next visit for some tasty treats that don't over stuff to launch us into a day full of walking and shopping.

My boyfriend and I intended on coming here for breakfast, but after a night of heavy drinking, missed breakfast and had lunch. This was the best lunch that we had on the island. I had the tuna sandwich and my boyfriend had the BLT, I want to say. Both of them were wonderful and the service was so great. Our waitress and the owner were both very friendly, and helpful. On my next visit to Key West I hope to make it for breakfast. Until then, thank you for the best lunch there!

Sarabeth's is adorable. Totally charming, and as it's just one step off the beaten path, a quiet, Southern version of the NYC classic. I wish we could have gone back for more than one meal, just to try things out. However, we shared a delicious Gulf shrimpcake entree, which was mind-blowingly fresh and well-prepared, and a whole snapper. Really, it was whole, and I'm pretty sure my partner in crime's eye bugged when he saw the whole lightly battered and fried fish arrive before him. I thought I was going to have to fight with him to manage to get my half. I'm glad that I did, however, because that was some seriously good fish. Seeing as we were only in Key West for a night, it seemed fitting that we have Key Lime Pie, and their small, nearly crustless version was just absurd. It was perfect. Just the right amount of flavor, and I'm so, so infinitely grateful that we tried Sarabeth's rather than going anywhere else. Sarabeth's manages to still have the sort of ramshackle Key West charm without the tourists. Situated one block from the main drag in an old house, it's quiet atmosphere and friendly, well-educated staff made it a very, very special dinner for us. It was a very good way to experience what Florida envisions as farm to table cuisine (perhaps water to table...) without too much fuss. All in all, it's also not that much more expensive than any meal you'd find at a restaurant other than a fish shack in Key West, and the quality is simply outstanding.

We had the shrimp and bacon omelette, and French toast, with a side of turkey sausage. Also had the Four Flowers juice. Very cute breakfast place and delicious food. The turkey sausage was the standout for us, but everything else was very good. We'd come back again.

Considering all of the people outside and what people have reviewed I expected Sarabeth's to be more than what it was. There were a few couples standing outside, waiting for their table when we got on the list, just two of us, they said ten minutes. About 20 minutes later we were seated inside in a tiny room where the waiters kept their dishes and where the table were so close we had to squeeze through two tables of people eating breakfast to sit at our table. Luckily we got a table in the corner of the room so we didn't have people's butts rubbing against our table while eating. The room was loud and had too many 2-top tables in too small of a space. The menu didn't have much variety and was a bit pricey for breakfast, but that's expected in Key West, right? So we order, I order the Farmer's Omelet. It wasn't good. It was bland and wasn't worth the name it was given anyways. The leeks overpowered the eggs. The gruyere cheese was barely there, and the chunks of potato were barely cooked. But there was a decent amount of ham but I could barely taste it because the leeks were so strong. Overall, too crowded, too noisy, not tasty. I like the jams but the restaurant I will not visit again. You get 2 stars for good jam.

I really enjoyed Sarabeth's. I went here based on Yelp reviews, and was glad we tried it. We went for brunch and sat on the patio in the front. The only downside to sitting on the patio is that the conch tour train-thingy drives by a dozen times and you might feel like a zoo animal on display for the tourists. But, you hardly notice it after a few times. The people were very nice and the service was excellent. The food was great, and the portions were generous. I had a turkey sandwich of some sort and it was very tasty.

Very nice ambiance, sweet outdoor patio to sit and eat. The service was nice as well. The breakfast was just average, but what stood out were the fresh 4 flower juices and the apple sausages. The pancakes were fluffy and good, I prefer a more rustic pancake. My cousin had the shrimp & bacon omelet, and said it was tasty. Nice experience, not the best breakfast Iv'e had, but simple and good.

After a night of pounding drinks, a good, wholesome, hearty breakfast is a must-have. Cue Sarabeth's. Holy heavens, this is just what the doctor ordered. + Go for breakfast/lunch + Large portions + Yummy potatoes + Tuna Salad - a definite must + Homemade marmalades (which can be purchased) + Friendly service + Decently priced + Indoor and outdoor seating This is the kind of breakfast that brings a smile to everyone's face and a huge sigh of happiness at the completion of the meal. Will definitely recommend to everyone in the Keys.

Very good food and service. Keri and I have been here twice this week; the first time I had the day's special, a great yellowtail snapper dish, while this time we both had the justly famed fried chicken. We both loved everything we tried both visits. Our server from our first visit came by and talked with us tonight, and was a delight. The hostess, with a lovely UK accent, is friendly and fun. All in all, a great place and we look forward to returning.

Not sure why this cute little find is listed as closed, as we went there this morning and it is indeed open. We dined outside on this quaint little patio, even though it was hot out the porch has the appropriate amount of shade and fans, so breakfast was very pleasant. I went simple and had the pancakes with bacon, and this little smoothie like drink which is their own recipe. Very Tasty! We met the owner he was super sweet. We may go back tomorrow for the French toast.

Went for lunch, we had a great chilled Key West Shrimp salad and a burger. When I called to find out if they were dog friendly, the gentleman who answered was incredibly nice. They do allow dogs at certain tables on the ground. Server was also great. I will definately be back for the fried chicken and breakfast.

Wonderful Caesar salad. The whole boneless snapper was SO yummy. Atmosphere was magical. The only disappointment was dessert. The Chocolate Chubby was sort of lame--and the shot glass of milk served with it was useless.

Always consistent with nice off-Duval atmosphere and great comfort food. David the host will get you a good (go for outdoor patio) seat and point out the best parts of the menu. Top picks are the Meatloaf, Green Chile mac & cheese, crab & shrimp cakes, or the awesome home made fried chicken. Good wine list, salads and desserts. For breakfast, try the four flowers juice with a stack of their really yummy pancakes smothered in syrup with a side of bacon. Can ya tell this place is all about comfort food?! This is by far my favorite place for Brunch in Key West. The entire menu is great so do not fret when contemplating new things. Not a fan of smoothies, but they're worth a try here. Get there early because the wait can be 40 minutes or more. Btw...on Sunday's they don't serve alcohol till 12pm. If you want Mimosas before 12 you'll be sadly disappointed, but the wait is worth it.

We only had a single evening in Key West, so it was a perfect opportunity to use my Yelp advisors to send us to the right place. And right place we ended up... The first person you run into when you walk up to Sarabeth's is it's owner, David Case. Honestly, David might just be the most friendly, customer-focused restaurant owner I have ever met. While it is relatively easy to be a provide straightforward, friendly customer service, it is not easy to combine that friendliness with efficiency and instinctual presence (knowing when a customer needs something and when they need space). David and his staff took it to that next level. My wife and I both ordered the crab cakes, which were delightfully paired with a spicy Thai sauce that perfectly complemented them. My starter was a tomato soup that was chunky not smooth - perfect texture and taste. I cannot imagine a better introduction to the Keys than an evening at Sarabeth's.

I had breakfast twice here during Christmas week of 2011. Expect to wait during busy times of the year, it normally took at least half an hour to get a seat. I had both mornings the omelet with ricotta and vegetables and enjoyed it. I especially like their juice of four flowers. My favorite thing here is their apricot orange marmalade. I never eat jam at home but this is so good I slathered it on their good bread and enjoyed it immensely. I have been told their muffins are great but both days they were out of them. Shouldn't they try to bake more during busy weeks? The second time I was there a person stole my place on their wait list by saying they were me. When I brought this to the attention of the host I still wasn't given the next available table--and he remembered me and said something to the effect that he thought I had a dog. I guess the woman who said she was me had a dog, but still, I should have had the next available table. If you want to eat here during a busy time keep your eye on the host and make sure someone else doesn't do this to you!

Awesome artisan bread. 4 flowers juice delish. Beet salad the freshest I've had on KW. Caeser salad excellent. Both dressed well, not drenched. Sides with the mahi mahi were fresh & good kick of spice. Compared to those, the fish seemed nicely done, fresh & moist, but less the star of the plate. The Sunday special fried chicken was good, moist & tasty fry that stayed on with the meat. The cole slaw was perfect, just like we make at home, big chunks, sweet, not sour. Good meal. Service was good, sometimes disappearing, and our plates took a while to clear, but friendly and courteous. Owner/ host was very courteous & friendly. We went back on Wednesday for lunch. Omelette (spinach & goat cheese) were perfect (not overdone, burnt or crispy, but creamy) on the island. The burger seemed very plain, but somehow was cooked perfectly & exceeded some of the burgers we've had at places that burgers were their claim to fame. Pass on the pepper potatoes. Okay, but not needed when the other yumminess will fill you up. The fresh cut french fries were my friends favorite, and what we went back for. Service was fine, nothing special in other locations, but exceptional for KW.

What a great find! Totally off the drunken beaten path of Duval. David the owner is outside greeting people in his crisp white shirts and Nantucket Shorts. Super friendly and welcoming. Instantly felt at home! The eggs are the most fluffy and light I have ever had. What a perfect place to walk to bright and early. And dont even get started on the OJ. Pure heavenly sunshine in a glass. This may take the cake for my favorite place for Breakfast on the eastern half of the US. Thank you to the staff. You are so happy and welcoming, and there is just nothing better than that, 1st thing in the morning.

We got seating immediately at 7 PM inside this quaint comfortable modestly-decorated historic building. Service was instant and outstanding. We were not very hungry so I ordered only a bowl of Creamy Tomato Soup and Companion had a fancy Mac & Cheese. I have never had a tomato soup like this before; it was a perfect balance of tomato, onion, and basil all mellowed by very rich cream. Mac & cheese was high-quality al dente pasta mixed with rich cheeses. Ambience was perfect for quiet, romantic conversation. Even the coffee here tasted great and it was served like it was made just for us. A definite Key West gem.

We did some research on Yelp and came up with this restaurant as it had some really good reviews. It turns out that they are well deserved. First the service was very good with our waiter being very attentive and suggesting to my wife a wine, who after tasting, declined. But he brought out the red that she ordered and also brought another white for her to try as he really listened to what it was she wanted in a white. She ended up with his suggestion and was very happy with it. My wife got the special for the night which was a whole, fried snapper that came with a small salad. I had the crab/shrimp cakes which also came with a small salad. We asked for bread as the menu suggests and it was excellent as a starter. Both of us really enjoyed all of our food. The fish was artistically prepared and the crab/shrimp cakes that I had were fresh and not full of filler. Except for the leftover fish head, our plates were clean. We finished with a slice of key lime pie that was individually prepared and not slathered with meringue. We ate outside so can't speak to what it was like inside. I really liked the ambiance of the outside patio. I'll be back to this place, maybe not this trip, but all in all I consider it a real find.

Outstanding, from start to finish. Had the chef's special: yellowtail snapper, de-bonded, served whole and lightly flash fried with watercress salad and citrus vinaigrette. Fresh, tender, delicious. And of course the bread pudding was to die for. My partner had the crab cakes, which were also wonderful.

Great Yelp find! We went here for dinner last night. Very quaint little place, friendly owner and very attentive wait staff. The food was excellent...would definitely return. Recommend the meat loaf and the skirt steak.

Returning customers. Had dinner with the folks at Sarabeth's two nights in a row. Dinner is super scrumptious. Thinking about breakfast with them now. Love the owner. Very social and hands on. Great guy and great staff

Mrs B and I had a lovely breakfast here. I ordered the red omelet, which was nice and fluffy, with a good quality mild cheese and a sauce of tomato and red pepper. I can't emphasize enough how superior the cheese in this omelet was - it was not overly salty or strong, and did not dominate the flavor at all. Sourdough toast was also delicious, with homemade peach strawberry preserves. Mrs B got the almond encrusted French toast, which was also quite good. The only demerit was the side of bacon, which was $1 per slice and not at all crispy.

Pros: Great ambience, wonderful service, good food, great Key Lime Pie Cons: none This place was recommended to us by the front desk at the Bed and Breakfast we stayed with. It a close walk if you're staying in the Old Key West district. The food and service was amazing. The Key Lime Pie is out-of-the-world and didn't compare to any of the other Key Lime Pies that we tasted during our trip. If we're ever in KW again, this restaurant will be on our list of places to eat.

I came into this place with high expectations for all the typical reasons: she's got a reputation from New York, the setting is beautiful, and fellow Yelpers altogether gave it great reviews. I respectfully disagree. First of all, there were certain items not available on the Sunday we were there. Which, is okay. But, then as we sat down for dinner to browse the relatively bland menu options, we were dismayed to learn also that the last of the lump crab on the menu was just served and we could no longer get that either. To say the least, the options we could choose from were quickly narrowed. We ended up going with the jumbo shrimp in a cajun sauce with mango, coconut rice based off the premise that this was the most potentially exciting part of the menu. Wow. Major disappointment again. The shrimp had barely any actual spice to it and there was a "dollop" at best of cajun sauce to dip the shrimp in, hidden on the side of the dish. As my partner noted, "oh, I wish I would have found that earlier." The other disappointment was the rice. Instead of some sort of pureed sauce or other that would have made the dish truly exceptional and delicious, the rice had scattered, tattered pieces of mango chilling out in it. Fine, whatever, but then you're going to charge nearly $30 for this? Give me a break. Overall, just a true disappointment sums it up. And, to be honest, I'm usually pretty happy with whatever, except for when you have the bill the size of what we had for this place and the food to go with it was truly bland.

I love the atmosphere at Sarabeth's. It's a large old house/turned restaurant with a neighborhood feel. We have eaten here multiple times and always sit on their outdoor patio. When we last ate here I had the mahi-mahi and my boyfriend had the meatloaf. My fish was very fresh and light. I could eat it everyday. The meatloaf portion is generous, my boyfriend even took some home and ate the rest the next day. They only serve wine and champagne cocktails so prepare if you have a boyfriend like mine that was hoping for a bourbon. This is one of our Key West fav's!

I came across this place with the help of Yelp reviews. I gotta say...I LOVED IT! David the owner greeted me at the door and showed me to a table outside on the patio. The first time I went I had the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. They were so good! The amount was just right. The next day I went back and had the Goat Cheese Omelet with the Flower Juice....its fresh squeezed! WOW is all I can say! I hope to try lunch and dinner before I leave!

A great spot for a healthy brunch but be sure to reserve in advance! This place is popular and books up-- especially if you want outdoor seating. Be sure to try the Four Flowers Juice made with a blend of Orange Juice, Bananas, Pineapple and Pomegranate Juice. Also, pick up some delicious preserves to bring back to friends and family. I snagged a jar of Strawberry Rhubarb for my neighbors but couldn't bear to part with it. Whoops.

Great Yelp find for our dinner out. We ordered the appetizer size crab cake and green chile mac-n-cheese - both were superb! Lumps of crab and shrimp and veggies with hardly any filler and the right amount of spice with the macaroni and cheese. Our entrees of pink shrimp and mahi mahi were delish with a phenomenal pillow of coconut rice underneath. No room for desert unfortunately...but we definitely need to return to try out the breakfast!

Watching the Key West channel (infomercials) just after we arrived I saw an ad and review for Sarabeth's. David the owner was prominently interviewed at the end and delivered the closing pitch for me and I knew we were off to enjoy lunch. Upon walking from the ferry landing maybe 15 to 20 minutes we arrived to find David as host at the front door. I mentioned I had seem him on TV and he replied" all about advertising and Internet. Well, I said the real reason I came by was for the reviews in Yelp. He said what's that? I explained and he marveled that his business was reviewed. Next we know we are seated and their very special tomato soup was delivered by David himself for all to enjoy. When I tell you good that is all wrong it was great. Creamy, cheesy to the point the cheese actually comes out of the bowl like mozzarella off a pizza. Little bits of onion and cream and just a flavor I have never enjoyed in a tomato soup. Try it. From there, as it was lunch and David serves breakfast all day my friends each ordered omelets and the home made peach jelly for their toast. The best jelly ever. So good we bought some. I enjoyed a very nice mahi salad with the mahi perfectly cooked and a very fair potion. Small pitchers of iced tea for each patron and Liz gobbled the turkey on wheat sandwich with real carved turkey. Home made salty fries went perfect with her club. Entire bill was very fair for 4 for lunch at 67.00 and our server was convenient and knowledgeable. Spent some time chatting with David and he is a real personality with a great sense of what works in a restaurant. From there we walked to the damn hot sauce store across from B.o's and I still don't know what hit me.

Wife and I rented mopeds while in Key West and after riding by Sarabeths a dozen or so times, we thought, better go check it out! So glad we did. Another charming Key West restaurant, with great service, great food, and great atmosphere. I was not expecting the restaurant to be as small as it was. Added a certain charm to the place. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was solid and the atmosphere quaint. I give them 4 stars and would definitely eat here again.

Food couldn't be better. We had dinner here on our first night in Key West. We had pan-fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans for dinner, and a very amazing housemade strawberry shortcake for dessert. Service was great - kitchen was a little slow so the waiter brought out free soups completely unprompted. The hostess and manager both stopped by to see how our food was. The location is wonderful; building is full of history and ambiance.

Oh yeah, I'm a total fan of this place! After riding bike to Blue Heaven only to find that it was closed for a few weeks due to low season and the owners out on a well-deserved vacation, we decided to bike over to Sarabeth's for brunch. I had always heard that the Sarabeth's in NYC were excellent and according to my Yelp App- this place was just as good even though its the only Sarabeth outside of NYC. We got there a little late for brunch as per Key West standards, close to 1:30, but luckily for us, brunch is served until 2 :) We actually didn't go to brunch earlier because we learned the last time in Key West that they do not serve alcohol on Sundays until noon, and really...what's a brunch without mimosas or bloody marys?! We chose to sit inside and basically had the whole place to ourselves, which was nice! The place is very cute and cozy inside and not quirky like many places in Key West tend to be. It felt like we were eating breakfast at home, except better because we didn't have to cook or clean up! I ordered a Key West shrimp and bacon omelet which was absolutely delicious and my husband ordered a smoked salmon omelet which was very good too! Now, it should be noted that I do not like salmon at all, so for me to take a bite of his omelet and say it was delicious is a BIG thing! We both had our omelettes with the home fries and 8 grain toast with the homemade marmalade- everything was great and tasty. We also had a side of their turkey sausage which was also very good, but somehow tasted like meat sausage? Not sure how they do that, but I'm not complaining- it was yummy! lol We also had 2 mimosas, which I must say, were fantastically refreshing after a hot bike ride. I also loved the proportions of the mimosas...not too much juice and a lot of bubbly ;) Also, the price couldn't be beat- we left full, happy, and a lil buzzed (ok fine we had been drinking mimosas pre-brunch in the pool! lol) all for just $31! LOVED it, I'll definitely be back :)

I went for brunch here and the host and my waiter not only went out of their way to make me feel comfortable dining alone but they were very attentive to my dairy allergy as well. 6 stars for service. The food was very good but nothing totally stunning - I would say it was about about average for the quality I've come to expect at a decent restaurant in a big city like Chicago or New York, but far above most of what you will find in Key West...

Breakfast is not my favorite meal of the day. But when it comes to breakfast at Key West's Sarabeth's, I make an exception! The ambiance is so cozy, and the music is just relaxing and it makes for a pleasant peaceful experience on your Sunday morning. Get there early because the place fills up quickly. If the weather is nice, try to seat outside, if not, inside seating is also enjoyable. Try their Four Flowers juice and their lemon-ricotta pancakes! Delicious. The service staff, starting with the host, are all extremely friendly and accommodating.

The BEST Fried Chicken I have ever had!! Thanks to Yelp for this one. I've spent half my life in the south so I know fried chicken! We were greeted by Teri since the owner was on vacation and she was so awesome I gave her a piece of my fried chicken! Our server was great too! I know it was the best ever so why'd I give that up...well we both got fried chicken, there was plenty to eat and I wanted to save room for dessert. Also had no way to get leftover's back to our hotel and it was end of June and KW was having a heat wave. Chicken this wonderful shall not go to waste!! For dessert we had the Strawberry Shortcake. Again the best. Fresh strawberries, fresh shortcake and whipped cream. You could really tell this place takes pride in what they do, and they do it well! We walked out so stuffed and happy. OMG this is "last meal" on earth thing. Every Sunday since I think ...It's Fried Chicken night at Sarabeth's. My next KW vacation will be planned so I can go back for Sunday dinner ..I'm not kidding.

My favorite all around restaurant in KW! Been there on many occasions for breakfast, lunch, & dinner & never disappoints! Friendly staff & the owner makes you feel right at home. Velvety Tomato Soup is incredible & must! Boneless Whole Fried Yellowtail is their staple & can't be had anywhere else. You read correctly, it's boneless! Southern Fried Chicken on Sunday nights is also incredible. Deserts are also great & their Orange Apricot Bread Pudding is outstanding!

Got to Key West last Friday and found this amazing restaurant first thing Saturday. We've been for dinner here very night (except for Monday and Tuesday when they're closed). The food is exquisite and service is well above standard. We love that it is off of Duvall, quiet and has a lovely patio. Dave and his team took are of our every need. We would come back in a heartbeat!

It's good, only because I missed the muffins. I had such high hopes since it'sbeen ages since I visited the spot on the UES on Madison. Oh muffins and jam. Muffins were sold out for my birthday brunch, but the Hibiscus (prosecco with cranberry juice) was a nice way to start the day. I don't recall his name, but the well dressed gentleman who welcomes you is a perfect first impression. He was charming, efficient and managed seating wonderfully. Sarabeth's can be pricey for breakfast, but the ambiance and the people make it worthwhile, I think that may be the case with everywhere in Key West.

Am I missing something here? I don't get why people like this place so much. Yes, it's cute. Yes, it's very neighborhoody, but come on, the food is not great. We went here for my husband's birthday brunch and I ordered their famous French toast. It was bland and dry. I can make way better French toast at home. So can my mom, dad, brother and anyone else. Also, stop serving coffee in those huge mugs! My coffee gets cold after 5 minutes and no one likes drinking cold coffee.

We stopped in for lunch after hearing a piece on NPR about Sarabeth's rise to fame. She deserves the accolades, for sure! We were greeted by the owner of the Key West Sarabeth's, and he was enthusiastic and welcoming, clearly in his element and friendly with many of the locals who stopped in or walked past. My champagne cocktail was totally delicious, as was the bread brought to the table. We sampled the famous cream of tomato soup and it lives up to its repuation- best soup I'd ever had. I got the poached salmon "cobb" salad and it too was one of the best, most satisfying salads I'd ever eaten. Next time I'm in NYC, I plan on stopping by one of the Sarabeth's there and next time I'm in the Keys, I will most certainly be back.

Amazing brunch for 8 women. We were in Key West for our college reunion and wanted to eat at a special spot. I had been here before and also lived in NYC for a time and enjoyed the SB location at Chelsea Market. This restaurant is a gem- sure to exceed your expectations for brunch or lunch. I have had the lemon/ricotta pancakes before- superb! On my most recent visit over memorial day weekend I had the almond crusted cinnamon french toast- yum! Definitely try the Four flowers juice- like a great smoothie in a glass of fresh juices. Lastly the impeccable service: David accommodated our group, checked in with me twice by phone before our reservation and remembered me when I got there. He is wonderful. Enjoy this gem of a spot!

The place is a small quaint key west home turned restaurant. The staff and owner were friendly and helpful. They let is taste and try a lot of their juices so that we could really make an informed decision. The breakfast was also delicious. We recommend the crab and shrimp omelet, both the french toasts, and the Benedict! The food is fresh, the ambiance was inviting and the staff went above and beyond!

Delightful service, delicious food. I took my boyfriend and my Mom for brunch on a Saturday. Waited a short 30 minutes (compared to 2 hours at Blue Heaven). The owner seated us, checked on us after we received our food, and thanked us for our business on the way out. My boyfriend is still raving about the fresh juice and French toast. I had the scrambled eggs/smoked salmon/cream cheese which was wonderful. My Mom is on Weight Watchers and was able to order an omlette that worked with her diet. The staff and chef clearly care for and appreciate their customers, Thank you, Sarabeth's, for such a great experience.

Quaint little place we found on our last day of our vacation. Not a huge variety to the menu but the food was fresh and good. I had the porridge the wife had a pumpkin waffle both had unique taste (in a a good way), a must to try is the Flower Juice.

Was hoping to make it there for their much talked about breakfast but made it for lunch instead. The club sandwich I had was delicious. All of the food was delicious and we especially enjoyed sitting outside and feeling the breeze. The restaurant looks like a typical Key West house very cozy and cute. The staff is beyond attentive and courteous. They were so patient bringing different foods for our 1 year old to try. Loved the experience and will definitely go back on my next visit to Key West.

Excellent brunch spot! Try the Almond Crusted Cinnamon French Toast, you won't be disappointed. The wide brunch cocktail selection is sure to quench your thirst on a hot Key West morning. The black cherry and blueberry mimosa was incredible. And the staff is super friendly and attentive.

Stopped in for dinner on our first night in Key West - a great start to our vacation. There are some nice twists to comfort food here at Sarabeth's. I started with a roasted beet and arugula salad and then moved to the mac-n-cheese which was spectacular. I was really impressed with the staff who aced customer service.

Very good food, at a very reasonably price. Went for dinner, one fine winter's evening and for brunch the next morning. The food is consistently quite good, the service is reasonable, and overall I was happy and would gladly come back the next time I'm in KW.

We went there for brunch on the day we were leaving. Went by everyone reviews and it was so worth it! Owner is amazing! Great guy. Funny. Went by all the reviews and owner suggestion. Lemon pancakes were amazing. 4 flower juice amazing. All the local go and rave about it. Just go you won't be disappointed! I asked the owner if he ever looked at his reviews he said no. he didn't want to get sad. I told him go look you will be extremely happy. Good job to them for doing a amazing job non stop.

The food here is VERY good. Location is not far from the popular Duval street. So why 3 stars you ask? I believe that the food, as good as it is, is compareable to an upscale Denny's. Denny's has good food, so does Sarabeth's, but the difference is, you will pay $4 for a SMALL glass of, "market fresh" orange juice and another $4 for 4 strips of bacon, that they don't prepare themselves, you can literally make yourself! Now I understand that the average person goes to a restaurant because they don't want to make their own food, but $4 for BACON? Come on! I got the buttermilk pancakes, very delicious, but this is PANCAKES! They were light and fluffy, like pancakes should be, and came with fresh strawberries, nothing major, nothing elegant, so why did I just pay $9.65 for them? Because they are close to duval, and are taking advantage of those visiting our fair town! The wife had the Red Omelet, eggs, tomatoes and red peppers, that were very good too, but they tasted a little like eggs with marinara sauce in them. The staff is friendly, but there is no uniformity in their attire. If I am paying above average prices for average food, I want above average service, and it starts with uniformity! I understand that Key West lives in the, "laid back" mindset, but I really would appreciate a little humility from these restaurants who believe that just because you came from out of town, you have a little extra pocket change! If you want really good breakfast for a bad price go to Sarabeth's, if you want good food for a really good price, go to Denny's. Same type of menu, not as expensive.

Very nice place for breakfast in Key West. We sat inside as it was super hot out that day (what a shock, haha). Lovely dining room, felt like it's been there forever but it didn't feel old and crappy. You have to get the four flowers juice- it's made with I believe orange, mango, pineapple and banana- screw OJ, that's a great breakfast juice. Coffees are served in very large cups and it was very good coffee- surprising for me to say since I'm not a big fan of American coffee. She had the lemon ricotta pancakes- she liked them a lot, as did I. Not THAT lemony and you don't really notice ricotta whatsoever except maybe in the texture- a little smoother than your typical pancakes. I had the pumpkin waffles- LOVED them. Pumpkin flavor wasn't in your face but more on the subtle side. Service was extremely nice and accomadating but not overbearing.

Service is what it is all about at Sarabeth's in Key West. We have been regulars here on our annual trips to Key West. While we have enjoyed occasional dinners, which were quite good, we show up every day for brunch when we are in town. The menu selection is an array of delicious alternatives. In our many, many visits, our group has never had a bad meal. And did I mention the service? David and his staff are delightful! Service is prompt and friendly. Nothing like the NYC counterparts. Off the beaten track in Old Town (but not too far off the beaten track), Sarabeth's provides a warm and friendly experience--a most welcome home away from home.

This was our second visit to Sarabeth's and just like the first time, it didn't disappoint. We had brunch on Sunday morning around 10:30 am and the wait was about 10 minutes. We were seated on the patio, which is a little crowded, but we didn't mind. We ordered the pumpkin waffle, which was served with sour cream, raisins, pumpkin seeds, and maple syrup, and the farmer's omelet, filled with sauteed leeks, potato, ham and gruyere. A side of crispy thick cut bacon and home fries completed our meal. I thought the prices were fair considering the quality of the food. The eggs were perfectly cooked, and there was not a speck of grease coming from the bacon and potatoes. Ungreasy bacon? Yes, its possible! The owner/host is a pleasure. He greets everyone and chats with the locals about the going-ons of Key West. They also sell their own jars of homemade jams.

During a recent trip to Key West we went to Sarabeth's for breakfast upon the recommendation of a friend. We weren't disappointed. The lemon ricotta pancakes and the farmers omelet were perfect. The coffee and mimosas were great as well. The service was as friendly as could be and the waitress convinces up to actually come back for dinner since they have a fried chicken special on Sunday. The chicken as well as the crab cakes were just as good as the breakfast. I would HIGHLY recommend this as a great stop in Key West. During dinner the room was filled with locals which is always a good sign in a vacation area.

Two words: tomato soup. It's the reason I went to Sarabeth's (on the advice of a local) and it is the main reason I will go back. Friendly service and delicious food. Sarabeth's keeps it simple and it works.

I went to brunch at Sarabeth's with incredibly high hopes, and I left disappointed. I started with one of the signature champagne cocktails which was good, but not amazing. Since I was so excited about Sarabeth's, I ordered the Key West pink omelet and split the french toast with my sister. The Key West pink omelet was good, but it wasn't up to the caliber of the egg dishes I've had at Bouchon in Vegas. Also the french toast was a huge disappointment! It was definitely nothing special. The highlight of the brunch was Sarabeth's muffin, which my other sister kindly split with me since she had the last one of the day. I would definitely go to Sarabeth's again when visiting Key West, but I would definitely have realistic expectations. Also the service was amazing.

Amazing food! Best meal I have had in a while. We went for dinner and ordered calamari, shellfish cakes, and pan roasted chicken. You could taste how fresh all the ingredients were. The mashed potatoes and entire shellfish cake dish were outstanding. I could not believe how light the shellfish cakes tasted- best I have ever had! Great service and comfortable, small atmosphere.

We were looking for a place off Duval Street that didn't have the usual Key West crowd. Not a snob, but, as a tourist, I don't like to see other tourists in Key West t-shirts and bathing suits in a restaurant. I knew Sarabeth's was a New York restaurant, and I knew the food was reasonable for a resort area. We arrived for an early lunch. David, the manager, was welcoming and got us a table as soon as one became available. We ordered BLTs and a hamburger. The BLT was the best I ever had with its freshly roasted Turkey. Both entrees were about about 13.00 each. Decor is great in a restored home with clean restrooms. The servers were clearly very busy, but they were nice and served us well. I will be back and am eager to try the New York locations. I will be back.

Omelette perfection! Good service, ambience... Thank you yelp for helping me find this place!

If you go here, you must try the Tomato Soup! It is out of this world delicious. Sarabeth is working on a new cookbook and supposedly the recipe for this soup will be in it. The owner of Sarabeths, David Case is warm, friendly, and very welcoming.

Yum! Could have eaten breakfast here every morning. Don't miss the Lemon Ricotta pancakes, the shrimp/bacon omelette or the almond french toast. Best place for breakfast in Key West!

  • Tim S.

Came for breakfast... Service was prompt but the food was bland and uninspired. Omelet had that homogenous brilliant yellow color indicative of boxed eggs, which never taste nearly as good as fresh eggs. Potatoes where ok, but the peppers weren't even cooked... Everything was woefully under seasoned. Not worth a visit.

Another review from Kyle & Brad, Inc. Sarabeths Is a wonderfully quaint eatery who's atmosphere is enhanced by the staff. We had the French toast and the shrimp and bacon omelet. Both were fantastic. We tend to enjoy regular style mimosas rather than other flavor concoctions and that was true this time as well after trying the blueberry mimosa. All in all, sarabeths is definitely worth a visit, especially for breakfast. Wait was about 30 min as lines are usually long .

Very few places can live up to such high expectations and Sarabeth's definitely did that. On a quiet street just off of duval street this place is a hidden gem. The goldie lox plate is a perfect blend of flavors that you don't ever want the meal to be over. The egg is enhanced with the flavors of the salmon and then capped off with the creamiest of cream cheese. The seven grain toast served with home made jam is the perfect ending to the meal. I also highly recommend the 4 flower juice that combines banana, pomegranate, orange and pineapple juices.. Delicious!! Can it be breakfast all over again?

  • Mischa D.

Sarabeth's never disappoints. I've been there for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I highly recommend the grilled dolphin for lunch. The drinks are also really great. Try the 'Four Flowers' juice for breakfast. Yum. They have fried chicken dinners on Sundays. It's served with perfect mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Be sure to get there early as the chicken orders run out pretty quickly.

Amazing food! I heard the breakfast was great but after some heavy drinking at Sloppy Joes the day before I really wanted a sandwich. I decided on the turkey club and have to say it was the best sandwich I've ever had!! The place was so cute and our server was wonderful. I highly recommend having a meal here when visiting Key West.

  • Rich D.

Excellent service and ambiance. The outdoor eating area was delightful. Too bad the food did not live up to expectations. My wife had the almond crusted french toast and I had the lemon ricotta pancakes. Both were dry, bland and nothing to write home about. The price was high but about the same as most Key West restaurants. The coffee was good as it should have been for $3.50.

Outstanding breakfasts. I wish I had been in Key West longer so I could have tried everything on the menu. Delightful way to start the day.

Yet another great Key West find. Quick note: They are only open Wednesday through Saturday. That's actually on their yelp page, but since I tend to skim for content, it went right by me. Regardless, when we showed up on the Correct day, it was a charming place to grab a lunch/brunch. Wife had a sandwich, I had a feta cheese omelet, and we both had mimosas. Sat outside in the shade and enjoyed the lunch hour. It was as nice as you let it be. Topped it off with possibly the best key lime pie on the island. Unless you hate America, I can't see how you could be disappointed.

  • Brian B.

Food was good not great, Blue Heaven is a lot better I'd say, the Blue Heaven is like a little tucked away paradise with a live band. The food at Blue Heaven was really good, and the food was reasonably priced for Key West. The food here was overpriced, I'd give it 4 stars if it weren't overpriced so much. For example Blue Heaven an unlimited soda is $2.00. Here they are $3.00 for a can. The service was good.

So so good. When you are having that itch for some good ol' American home cooking, this restaurant will satisfy that craving. My friend Heather and I went for dinner there and we left the place feeling like stuffed piggies. There is indoor seating and outdoor seating. Wine is available, and reservations are available too.

Was really looking forward to trying Sarabeth's after eating their jams for years. I was disappointed. Waitstaff were great; however, food was bland and uninspired. We had an omelet and pancakes. The omelet was Luke warm and tasteless. The side of potatoes tasted stale. Pancakes were average. Would not return.

Ricotta pancakes were dry and not very flavorful. The salmon and eggs was superb though.

Best food we ate on the island. Place is very cute. Staff was attentive and courteous. Owner came by and adjusted the blinds so that we could eat lunch with a view. My only regret is that we didn't have time to eat a breakfast there

My husband and I ate at Sarabeth's twice during our stay in Key West, and that's saying something because when I'm in a new place I like to try everything, and that usually means not returning to the same place twice. However, we made an exception for Sarabeth's because the food was fantastic. The place had great ambiance! We ate outside on the patio both times, once at dinner and once for breakfast. I highly recommend trying the fried chicken on Sunday, it was crazy good. The service was absolutely fabulous, the owner of the place is a wonderful host, and the food is delicious and exceptionally prepared. What's not to love? Sarabeth's is definitely my favorite restaurant in Key West. Can't wait to go back!!

  • Michael N.

We stopped here on our last day in Key West for brunch. It's a little more expensive than other places in Key West and nothing really stood out. The service was pretty good but we were the only ones in the restaurant. I had the salmon scrambled eggs and can't remember what else we ordered. You can expect a decent meal in a clean restaurant here. We tried the four flowers juice and it was ok, but not worth the $4 for the small glass.

Went here for dinner on a Wednesday evening. Very friendly staff. Helpful, attentive, and not intrusive. We started off with the calamari. Lightly breaded, slightly spicy sauce. Not w crumb left. Cole's Peace bread on the side. Great stuff. I had the crab and shrimp cakes. Interesting. They don't even pretend to be "Maryland" carb cakes, which is good because they aren't even close. But they are a crunchy on the outside seafood and veggie on the inside combo. Very good. My husband needed a meat fix, so he had the skirt steak and mashed potatoes. Perfect. Haven't had better mashed potatoes in a restaurant, ever. Then dessert. The chocolate pudding was fantastic. Just like Momma would have made if Momma had been into cooking. Great experience. Would definitely return.

THIS PLACE IS DELICIOUS! Ok so the place is super cute inside, really homey looking...maybe cause it literally is a house but anyway..it's cute. Now food... Shrimp and Bacon Omelet: BEST OMELET I have ever had! So good, the flavor just explodes in your mouth. Apple butter cinnamon encrusted french toast: OMG!! Ok so I dont normally like french toast but this was something else. It was super light and fluffy and basically an orgasm in my mouth. If you like sweet breakfast this is definitely the way to go. One more thing...the food was so fresh, I did not feel heavy or full when I was done.

My favorite restaurant in Key West, period, largely for the wonderful welcome from manager David and his great staff, who provided very friendly service. We sat on the patio for our casually elegant dinner. The menu is a mix of well-prepared, beautifully presented American food - several items pure comfort with a twist: tomato soup to die for (my order), chicken pot pie (my husband's) and mac and cheese with peppers. I'd go back for any of those, but also for the other items as well - they looked terrific. Our waiter seemed hurt, seriously, that we didn't order dessert. Next time - the apricot bread pudding at the table next to us lives in my memory.

A little pricey but the food and ambiance was well worth it. Set in and old church and surrounded with an outdoor eating area, this place is truly an experience. The mahi mahi was out of this world with the blend of coconut rice and verde salsa!!!

    (5)
  • Josh O.

Amazing! I had the mahi mahi with coconut rice and tomatillo sauce. Such a rich blend of flavors. Tried a bite of the salmon as well-right on! And the yellowtail snapper was unlike anything I've ever seen or tasted. The whole fish came out on the plate, eyes and tailfin included. Had a killer taste. I would recommend any seafood dish here. I did not try any non-seafood dishes but imagine they too are great!

  • David C.

Nice decor and refreshingly clean and cool from usual quirky KW restaurant decor. Staff were warm and attentive. The almond French toast with bannas and apple butter was the best ever. Awesome coffee. The 4 flower juice concoction was so so. The breakfast a la carte menu gets pricey, even for some bacon.

Get the Mac N Cheese! The service was friendly and prompt. As soon as you are greeted you can tell this is a local favorite.

  • Lee S.

Excellent service and food. Three of us had the Crab cake for lunch with a lovely, simple salad of greens as a side included. Excellent multi-grain bread. I would only suggest that the Crab cake should have had just a little sauce of some kind. Maybe dill/mayo or such. It was a bit dry. I would definitely return.

Wow, what a perfect combination! Excellent patio, and Key West charm. Seeing how it was highly rated by the Yelpers, we stopped here for brunch on our last day at Key West. Perfect spring day, which was only accentuated by the great feel of the patio. The service was friendly and prompt, and the food was excellent. I'm a big b'fast food person and tend to be critical, but the lox and eggs, the toast, and the bacon... all excellent. My girlfriend raved about the apricot/orange marmalade and their version of a cream key lime pie, was good. All in all, a great location, really interesting converted-home, and great food. I can't comment on anything beyond the b'fast/brunch experience, but a must stop for brunch.

  • Greer S.

This place has great reviews from yelpers and we were not disappointed. Adorable place, small but very quaint. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly, and gave us great recommendations. We had a late lunch, so we skipped on apps and went straight to the main course. My boyfriend had the Special Snapper, which was his favorite meal of the vacation (we are picky fish eaters from Cape Cod). The fish was whole and completely de-boned and lightly fried and came with a nice arugula salad. I had the shrimp and crab cakes, which came with a mixed green salad. The cakes were unlike any I've ever had: crunchy corn and celery with the shrimp and crab, perfectly seasoned and not overdone. Staff was fantastic and meals were excellent. Highly recommend.

  • Greg G.

We had dinner last night based on other reviews. It was disappointing. The service was just ok as well as the food. One in our party of 5 ordered the crab & shrimp and commented they were the best he'd ever had. Two of is ordered the salmon and it was just average and served on top of over cooked peso. The last person had the macaroni cheese dish and thought it was tasteless. So for us just 2 stars. No plans to return.

  • Natalie G.

Not one thing I've had here is bad. Amazingly charming location, quiet, and really, really good food. The owner is always quick to greet us, jokes with us, and is overall genuinely delightful. As another reviewer states, it's like eating at your grandma's dining room. I swear by everything I eat there, not one thing will be bad. It's a little cramped inside, but there's a lot of sunshine so it gives the illusion of being pretty open. The Sarabeth's in New York City does not compare to the one in Key West; if you have to choose one, come to this one! Also, come very early or a little later, because it gets very full for breakfast time.

Perfect place to have breakfast/brunch. Everything that we had was delicious. The fresh squeezed juices are very flavorful. Our server was hilarious and the place is family friendly too. The dinner menu looked like it would have been worth trying, but this was our last meal on our trip. Will have to bookmark for future trips!

I think a chicken shat those Publix turkey sausages. Skip 'em. The farmers omelette tasted like Tuesdays lunch meat special -Boar's Head boiled ham. Boring. Juice was good. Obviously not an egg or meat lover place. Frozen butter in tinfoil. Meh.

  • Natalie D.

Great breakfast spot, cozy spot inside near the front window view. My husband ordered the fluffy French toast, which he enjoyed. We both ordered the breakfast potatoes which compliment the sweets. I had the pancakes. All was enjoyable. Nice coffee!

  • Heidi D.

We've been here twice and I don't think we will go again. It's tempting because it's pretty outside and there aren't a ton of breakfast places in Key West, but the service and food are really very average at best. We went for breakfast on my birthday which made it even more disappointing. We got omelets and a side of chicken sausage. Both were pretty boring. The best thing I had was the antioxidant intoxicant, a bubbly drink with cherry/pomegranate juice and prosecco. Like I said, we probably wouldn't go again.

I love this place. So much, in fact, that I am going again for breakfast this morning. I've been to this location before, as well as the NYC location. I love these restaurants, and the Keys location is no exception. I started off my meal with the Four Flowers Juice. Wow. I am not much for juice on a regular day, but this is such a treat. Pomegranate, banana, pineapple, and orange juice blended together for what can only be described as a treat in a glass. I wanted more of it immediately, but the $4 per glass charge made me think twice. I ordered the Farmers Omelet for breakfast with sourdough toast and potatoes. The potatoes, by the way, are a $1.50 add on...nothing is free here. I also ordered a side of turkey sausage with apple butter ($4, but so yummy you'll think it's worth it). My omelet was decent, but I thought it was more egg than the ham, leeks, and gruyere that they promised would be inside. The filling for the omelet was chopped in such a small dice that you had to fight to find the pieces you were searching for. If it weren't for the fact that everything else is so awesome, from the service to the quality of food, I'd knock this place down a star for this. But my fluffy (yes, fluffy) sourdough toast, spread with butter and apricot orange marmalade (OMG!), totally made up for it. And that turkey sausage! Three links of delish sausage served with apple butter. A sweet and savory combo that is so amazing you will never share with anyone, ever. My boyfriend, on the other hand, had the Almond Crusted Cinnamon French Toast. He flipped for it and said it was the best French Toast he's had in a long time. It was covered with toasted sliced almonds and fresh sliced banana and one slice was coated in Sarabeth's apple butter. I tried a piece, and it was truly great. Thick sliced brioche dipped in a cinnamon egg batter, served crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Pure food poetrty. This place is definitely worth a visit...or three.

Very unfortunate that Sarabeth's of NYC fame has a name associated with this establishment. While they try to emulate the New York location it does not come close. Had the French toast. The absolute worst I ever had. Tasted like lightly fried bread. Eggs were cold and overcooked. Maybe the chef had the day off.

This is a fantastic spot for brunch in Key West. I've never been to any other Sarabeth locations but I had heard great things so my expectations were high. Here's what my boyfriend and I enjoyed on the lovely patio: Four Flowers Juice: Yummy, a nice change over my usual boring coffee Spinach and Goat Cheese omelette w/ cornbread muffin (muffin of the day): This was fantastic- very fluffy. The cornbread muffin really stole the show- best I've ever had! Chicken sausage: Perfect side, very tasty Almond Crusted Cinnamon French Toast: Really gluttonous but worth every bite There are so many great brunch spots in Key West but this is one up at the top for me.

Although affiliated with the classic brunch eateries in New York, Sarabeth's Key West retains a distinctly local identity, combining classic favorites with local ingredients and flavors. We strolled over to Sarabeth's after checking into our hotel, and discovered ample outdoor seating at 2pm on a Saturday. Despite the heat of the day, our table in the front garden was comfortable with plenty of shade, fans and ice water. Hungry from a morning of traveling, we quickly ordered: 1. Cobb Salad with Sauteed Lump Crabmeat and Key West Pink Shrimp Cake ($14.95) - Our waitress was kind enough to substitute a crab & local shrimp cake for the poached salmon that usually accompanies the cobb salad, and it was delicious! Very large with ample sweet crab and shrimp meat and some filler, it was a real highlight of the meal. The cobb salad was just ok for me at the basil buttermilk dressing was too bland for my taste 2. Goldie Lox ($9.95) - a big old scramble with eggs, scallions, cream cheese and lox, El Queso Grande was pretty happy with his selection. I didn't try any, but the presentation was attractive 3. Four Flowers Juice ($4.50) - with orange, pomegranate, fresh pineapple and bananas blended together, this juice is delicious and refreshing on a hot summer's day. A worthy vacation splurge 4. Fresh Herb & Turkey Sausage ($4) - delicious! If you like turkey sausage, you'll love this homemade version 5. Key Lime Pie (?) - this was one of the highlights of our key lime pie crawl through the Florida Keys. Sarabeth's version is incredibly light and silky (like an airy mousse) with a very nice balance of key lime tartness, sugar sweetness and creaminess. The pie is a good size for sharing between two people PARTING THOUGHT: In the heat of summer, Sarabeth's offers plenty of healthy delicious options that won't put you at a disadvantage for bikini season! Next time, I'm sticking to the crab and shrimp cakes and the key lime pie!

Definitely a great breakfast brunch place. We went over to Blue Heaven and there was a line just to leave your name. So we headed over to Sarabeths and put our name down 20-30 minute wait. Sit outside this inside is tiny and nothing special. I went with the turkey club the turkey was fresh. Everything was really good quality. The portions are also a really nice size. You will not leave hungry. .

Worst service ever! Party of 14 for our dear friend's 50th birthday. They sat our party 30 minutes late and we had reservations. We had to pour our own water, the server did not check on the table once the food was served, and when the check came they refused to split the checks. Note there was no mention of this before and and no mention of this being a problem on the menu. The server actually handed us a calculator!! Over the years I've recommended this restaurant to several clients and will NEVER do so again.

This place is only open Wednesday thru Saturday so you need to plan accordingly. It was originally the home of a mayor (Maloney) and later a Jewish temple. I loved the 140 year history. It's small and cozy with friendly help. I had a divine brunch there, beginning with the Four Flowers Juice (orange, pomegranate, banana, pineapple) for $5. It was delicious but a small glass with a high price. I got a half order of the poblano pepper 3 cheese mac and a half order woodland salad with citrus vinaigrette. Both were five star and I'll never be able to eat any other mac & cheese again! I was wishing I still had room in my belly and my pocketbook to try their apricot bread pudding. I guess that's what next trips are for!

It's ok, we lost our server and was virtually ignored when we were trying to pay our check, owner was nice! Food was bland, my partner who is vegetarian had me ask if the tomato soup was made with a vegetable broth or a chicken stock, they said it was 100 % vegetable. guess what, my partner was up puking shortly afterwards cause it was made with a chicken stock! horrid! dont tell someone that its made with one thing when its made with another especially when someone has a sensitive stomach towards those things! We have a friend that is allergic to poultry, if he ate it he could of had to be checked into the emergency room! BAD BAD BAD!

The reviews on YELP are right on for Sarabeth's. We stopped in for breakfast and were completely impressed. David the owner is just a hoot, and as noted by others, so completely sincere in his love of this place and what he does. Our food was very good, and to sit out on the quaint patio under the trees in the morning was just the perfect way to end the weekend. If you have never been here, be sure to ask about the rubber duckies story. . . I'm sending David one to add to the collection.

You can tell it's good quality but I didn't care for it. Maybe if you always eat top of the line, five star places, you might like it. Small serving size, high prices. $3 for a soft drink, $21 for two crabcakes and a small salad. It was eh, ok but definitely not worth the price.

  • Amanda S.

Delicious brunch! I had a wonderful omelette and the breakfast potatoes were seasoned just right. Highly reccomend the marmalade and any of the juice was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is nice. It's a beautiful restaurant that still has a very relaxed, Key West feel. We went on a Sunday morning and only waited five minutes or so before being seated by a friendly host. The only reason I'm saying 4 stars instead of five is that the pumpkin muffin (which I was looking forward to) was a bit of a disappointment.

My family and I visited Sarabeth's for Mother's Day, and what a pleasant surprise this neighborhood bistro was. We were seated right away indoors and the staff was pleasant and friendly. As we enjoyed our drinks and the wonderful atmosphere our server treated my wife to a lovely Happy Mother's day song. The coffee was freshly brewed and the 4 flower juice was delicious. Our coffee cups remained full and hot throughout our visit. The Goldie Lox was great; smoked salmon scrambled with eggs and cream cheese, yuummm...the Key West Pink Shrimp and Bacon Omelet was simply delicious. The kids enjoyed the pancakes, the lemon ricotta pancakes were wonderful. This breakfast experience has been the best we've had since moving to Key West. Oh yeah, locals discount rock!

This is a lovely place for breakfast! It's cute and cozy. They have very unusual, yet yummy combinations. The spinach and goat cheese omelet was divine and they had lots of fresh fruit! The waitress was very friendly. This is a place we will definitely be visiting again!

Much better than their NYC joint across from Central Park. Delicious breakfast. Go for the savory dishes and not the sweet stuff (e.g., pancakes). And...a side order of scrambled eggs doesn't cost $10 like it does in NYC. Who do they think I am...a Wall Street tycoon with a few hundred million in the bank? I mean come on...$10 for a side order of scrambled eggs?! Maybe if it's from the hen that laid golden eggs. But I digress. Great tomato soup like the others said. The staff here is also very friendly. The home made preserves are also good. We bought a jar to bring home.

Very good to excellent food. The yellowtail boneless whole fish special was beautifully presented, fresh and deliciously prepared. The cold shrimp appetizer was good, but a bit ordinary. The bread pudding was tasty, but drier than traditional bread puddings. Overall the food was a solid 4. But, while David was very present and friendly, the service was slow, they were out o champagne, and the background music was quite tasteless and schmaltzy muzak. Seemed like rookie mistakes, surprising from such an experienced restauranteur.

Our favorite place for breakfast when we're in Key West. Charming, simple, and classy. David Case, the proprietor, is friendly and welcoming. The coffee is strong and hot. The four flowers juice is a must. I thought it was a little pricey for a glass of juice until I tasted it- a pulpy (aka REAL FRUIT) blend that was like a dessert in a glass. I had the fat and fluffy french toast which is thick but light, dressed with strawberries and real syrup. Husband had the pink shrimp and bacon omelet. Excellent for a leisurely breakfast/brunch on a quiet street away from the drunken stench of Duval St in the morning.

Good food. Small portions. Prices are high for anywhere but Key West. We (3) ate outside, so not sure of dining area inside, outside seating was nice in warm weather. Quickly seated, fed and expedited - when it was desired.

This is the sister restaurant of the Sarabeth's in NYC, and it keeps the tradition of excellent quality going. My girlfriend and I went here for breakfast on our last day in Key West. The food was excellent and the atmosphere nice and homey. I definitely suggest having a relaxing breakfast here one morning before you leave.

If you only go for the lemon ricotta pancakes, it will be worth your time. The owner is like the mayor of Simonton street; he greets everyone who walks by and he seems to remember every face that he's ever seen. The strawberry shortcake looks heavenly, but I've never tried it. The outside patio definately has the best seating, but the August heat makes the inside dining room more appealing. And Adriano is right; the four flowers juice is the best juice you will ever drink!!

I was a it disappointed with the breakfast. I read a lot of a reviews recommending this place and I was not very impressed. I tried the green and white scrambled eggs and the lemon ricotta pancakes. They were good but nothing exceptional. The homemade marmalade was very sweet and I prefer my marmalade to be bitter with more rind ! Maybe its just me but I wont be going back.

this place is heaven. as we walked in, we were greeted by the host, who super friendly and accomodating. we sat down and asked for coffee, which comes in these HUGE "serves 4" mugs. we all shared green & white scrambled eggs (which were sooo smooth and silky -- i now make them at home), delicious tomato soup, almond crusted cinnamon french toast (heaven), pumpkin muffins. prices are extremely reasonable. definitely sit outside when dining here. i cannot wait to come back to KW just to come here!

If you're lucky enough to find this gem, then you're in for a treat! It's a quaint old house with seating inside the front rooms and spreading out onto the front patio. Their menu was mouth-watering and the food was even better tasting! Almond-crusted french toast was killer! Friendly staff and amazing food - doesn't get much better!

We went for a birthday dinner to try something new and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious. I had pasta and it was wonderfully tasty. The stead was cooked perfectly. Service was excellent. It's a quaint little restaurant and has a really peaceful atmosphere. If you are in the mood for a quiet dinner, this is the place to go.

Sarabeth's is yet another good breakfast place in Key West. The food is very fresh and well presented. It's a little on the posh side for a true Key West experience (not quirky). The prices are quite reasonable and the staff was great. This is a great place to get a good breakfast and take a little break from Duval.

Excellent! If you go on Sunday for the fried chicken, it's best to get there when they open at 6:00. Service was a little slow but the food was wonderful. We will definitely be back.

Dinner was excellent! Yellow tomato gazpacho was some of the best I have enjoyed. Try the yellow tail snapper; the dish is savory and the presentation is unique. David (the Proprietor) is a gracious host. Be sure to try this gem while in Key West.

Absolutely delightful. I found this place on yelp and I just had to try it. I wanted to come for breakfast, but my friend and I were running a bit behind schedule after having too much fun the night before. Lucky for me, they had their "best of breakfast" on the lunch menu. I had a goat cheese and spinach omelette. Simple, but delicious. My friend had a mozzarella sandwich and said it was very good. The food is great, but the staff, location, and atmosphere brings this place up to five stars. The gentleman doing seating, who I suspect is a manager or an owner, was a total doll. He saw us unchaining our bikes after our meal and asked if we needed any directions and even reminded us to re-apply our sunscreen.

I visited Sarabeth's on Sunday, Feb 21, 2010 wrapping up what was one of the best weekends in a long time. My boyfriend had planned an amazing birthday getaway for me to the keys in which we stayed at the Truman Hotel. We decided that we were so close to everything that we would walk pretty much to everything. We were looking for a place that was still serving brunch at noon that day. We came across this little place. It looks like a home made into a quaint little eatery. We were seated immediately by the most friendliest of hosts known to man. Our server was Terri, who by the way was super attentive, friendly and just overall amazing. This place is still one of the few restaurants that allow pets. I ordered coffee that $3.50, but it was served in a large cappuccino cup and was well brewed. My boyfriend had ordered the orange juice and it was just freshly squeezed and served. None of this frozen OJ stuff stored overnight in the refrigerator crap. I had ordered the Fat and Fluffy French Toast which was two thick-sliced bread cut into halves and powdered with confectioners sugar. I also ordered a side of bacon which was four slices of the best bacon ever tasted, besides the bacon that my mother makes obviously but hey! My boyfriend had ordered a cheese stuffed omelet which was to die for. It came with a side of potatoes the were oven cooked and then pan toasted it seems. Aside from the amazing food which felt home cooked, the decor and environment was really comforting. The cabinetry looked like it came from a farm yet was handled with care. I am definitely going to make this restaurant a must do when I go back to the Keys. Just divine!

It does not look like this place needs more reviews, but I just have to drop a line. This place is wonderful! It is off Duval street, which makes it more intimate. The food was delicious and the ambiance was just right - not too casual, not to up tight. I had their scallops special. Do not pass that one! It will leave you speechless. The owner is very polite and entertaining in a good way. We did not have a reservation and the wait was not too bad. The service was everything you could fish for. 5+ starts!

Went this past Sunday for breakfast. Service was good but the food was just ok. The four flowers drink was just ok as well. It's a little overrated IMO. Seating outside is cozy and nice on sunny day..

For our 3rd night in KW we settled on Sarabeth's. Slightly surprised that they don't open for dinner til 6pm on weekdays. But we got the 2nd of the 5 tables indoor in the cooler part of the restaurant. The host was very nice and very easy going. The room we ate in was very small and it also houses the drink station so even though we were one of two tables, I could imagine it might be a bit hectic on a busy night. We decided on the bruschetta appetizer which was amazing. The tomatoes are marinated in balsamic vinegar and they are perfect and really go well with the gorganzola. For my dinner I went with the green chilli mac-cheese and my girlfriend went with the meatloaf. Sarabeth's seems to have mastered comfort food and these two dishes were great examples. I was craving mac-cheese since our appetizer the day before at Flaming Buoy Filet co... this did not disappoint. It was fantastic, and portion was large. Almost wish I had the option to order it as a side or appetizer. My girlfriend's meatloaf was text book, perfect amount of breading, crispy outer edge and moist middle. It also was a large portion teamed with the mashed potatoes. We were both way too full for dessert, so we passed but will on our next visit.

What a great find. Among a town with many great restaurants, our group thought the food and service was excellent! We had an omelet and French toast. Both were very good. As an added plus, we met the owner who was very warm and hospitable. We will be back on our next trip to the Keys.

Same experience as another writer, served a dish that was not ordered. It was eaten anyway as to reorder would delay the other person that had been served. The food was average. The owner/manager is extremely pleasant.

We came here for dinner and had a very pleasant meal seated outside. We arrived at 8:00 pm and they told us it would be an hour, so we walked around Key West for an hour, and then came back and were seated. The food was very good, creative and tasty. The menu is not extensive - there are only a small number of entrees offered, but they were all very well prepared and presented. Interestingly, there was only one fish dish on the menu, which I would characterize as classic American food done with modern style. The wine list was reasonable, and the service was very attentive and friendly. Clear that the owner was on the premise and cared about both food and service. I will definitely eat here next time in Key West.

We stayed in the Garden's Hotel down the street and walked to Sarabeth's for dinner, after a long drive from Miami. Luckily, we arrived early because it began filling up around 7:00 with a mix of tourists and regulars. The place is very small and the weather was iffy so we dined indoors. Nothing fancy about the decor and the waitstaff were anything but stuffy. It is NOT Sarabeth's/NYC!!! Our dinners were delicious and the mahi-mahi was very fresh. The server was cute as a button and had a great sense of humor . He kept an eye on the tables but didn't hover, which we always appreciate. The next morning, having had such a nice experience the evening prior, we hoofed it down the street again for Sunday brunch. David, the proprietor was there this time, looking quite spiffy in his white, crispy shorts and wearing a big smile. I ordered the green and white eggs, which were delicious, a side of bacon, the 3-pepper potatoes and coffee. My husband had the French toast and bacon and I couldn't keep my fork out of his plate. Seriously, the French toast is heavenly. Very thick ,but not soggy, and served with REAL maple syrup. I would have given Sarabeth's 5 stars but our breakfasts were both tepid as opposed to piping hot. The taste was so good though, we forgave them this little slip-up. I would recommend this little restaurant for any meal.

sarabeth's key west july 10 2010. although this resturant is nestled along a typical key west street with the over-grown houses, lush trees sets and friendly side walkers, it was able to serve up some (wait for it..) not so typical flavor and hospitality for my wife and i and i mean that in a great way. I can only speak about breakfast and every morning after the nightly rains, the walk and patio seating at sarabeth's was lushy-nice. with david delievering his greeting/smile at his corner post to us, as well as everyone else he seemed to know that was walking/ biking by. its like tim gunn had a twin making the neighborhood feel more refreshing than the prevoius nights rains being greeted by the morning sun. On to the food...we enjoyed the key west pink shrimp and bacon omlet which was silky, melt in your mouth goodness and the mouth-watering almond crusted french toast. Both dishes are above the standard and we cant wait to go back. The almond crusted french toasted also had fresh cut banana slices in a light glaze on top. The pricing was around $10 a dish which was fine and dandy. I can't wait to go back to this place.

We came across Sarabeths while watching the local Key West channel one morning before heading out of our resort. This was one of the best meals we had the entire week we were vacationing. We went for dinner on Sunday night and their special for the evening is fried chicken. We both got the special that came with coleslaw and mashed potatoes. You can really tell all of the dishes are made from scratch. The strawberry shortcake is a must for dessert and it was the best I have ever had. Terri was also awesome!!

Very cute place with good service and terrific food. We went for brunch twice and the food was fantastic both times. Both French toast dishes are great and the scrambled eggs with lox is outstanding. And don't miss the Four Flower juice - its fresh and delicious. The restaurant is just east of Duval St. but on a much quieter street so it's very nice to sit outside under the umbrellas.

Awesome restaurant right off Duvall Street! We are on vacation with our 3 month old and we were trying to find somewhere to eat that was a little more laid back with tasty and fresh menu options. My husband and mother got the yellow tail red snapper and both cleaned their plate with only the fish head left over. I got the shrimp and loved it! We even decided to come back the next morning for breakfast since we got such excellent food and service. Milosh even said we could call ahead and he would reserve a table for us. This is essential when traveling with an infant. Breakfast did not disappoint and even with a lot of people waiting, they were able to move people in and out quickly without making people feel rushed! Hidden gem in Key West that everyone should try at least once if not more.

This is an awesome place to get breakfast. It is a little off the beaten path, and it is a breath of fresh air from the normal Duval scene. The coffee is delicious. I could have sat on the shaded patio drinking it all day. I had a standard eggs and bacon type breakfast, and it all tasted fresh and not at all greasy. The homemade marmalade was excellent. The turkey sausage over apple preserves is definitely worth getting. It's a great combination of savory and sweet. While on vacation its nice to find somewhere that does not feel completely touristy. This is that place. If you are looking for an excellent breakfast, check this place out.

Best breakfast in town! Came here multiple times on this trip!!!! Porridge, omelets, pancakes, waffles, sausage and potatoes - never had a bad meal here!!! Service is excellent! And the BEST cup of coffee the entire trip :) Four flowers juice and the antioxidant intoxicant were fun too!! My far the best breakfast spot we have found in four trips down here in the past year. Love love love it. Worth every penny!!!

On a recent trip to Key West, Sarabeth's was in the same block as our hotel, and we decided to give it a try for dinner. The weather was ideal, and we asked for a table outside. Our waitress was friendly and accomodating. They don't have a full liquor license, only beer and wine. That was not a problem for us, as we enjoyed a bottle of Willamette Valley Pinot Gris. (For a small restaurant, they have quite a varied wine selection.) After ordering our dinner, the starters were delivered promptly and the main courses' arrival was well-coordinated. Everything was fresh and delicious, and we left totally satisfied. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Went for breakfast. The location and restaurant was so serene amongst the chaos of Key West and the food was spectacular. Creative, yummy, varied choices for all - savory and sweet alike. The drinks were awesome, fresh, and also diverse. Everything is homemade down to the toast and all the jellies! Don't pass up!

Best breakfast/brunch on the island. Lemon ricotta pancakes, delicious french toast, and excellent porridge on chillier mornings. The same fantastic food as its New York siblings with a much more relaxed, unpretentious Key West atmosphere.

We ate there today before coming home from Fantasy Fest. Our traveling companions had been there before and thought we'd like it. We most certainly did. We had both varieties of French toast, a couple of omelettes, sausage and their special fruit juice concoction and breakfast potatoes. Everything was superb. The only drawback was that we had to sit inside instead of in their lovely outdoor environment and this is certainly no ones fault, simply bad timing or luck of the draw. Service was absolutely wonderful from a couple of very polite and accommodating waiters who were there immediately when needed them and never intrusive when they weren't needed. How'd they do that? LOL! I highly recommend Sarabeth's and we will return.

I have always wanted to try here but ended up so disappointed. I had breakfast here on Sunday and split the Vegetable and Ricotta Cheese Omelette and the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with the hubby. The Omelette was very nondescript and no flavor. The pancakes were four flat disc that also had no flavor considering they were lemon and was served with a heaping of plain wheatberries that added to the blandness. Had fresh juice and coffee and coffee could have been alot hotter. Will not be returning.

We ended up at Sarabeth's while walking around on Valentine's night with my boyfriend. The host/ manager Milos was absolutely pleasant from the beginning, even though we didn't have reservations he found a table for us outside and the wait wasn't longer than 10 mins. After sitting us down, our waitress Susan came in. She took our drink orders and everything was going well till then. We did feel a strange vibe from her when she was taking our order but we did not think anything about it. BTW, Milos came to our table to help us with appetizers, that was lovely. We ordered the fried calamari which was delicious, very meaty, with a delicate light crispy breading with the chile, coconut lime sauce. Everything was going well until then, we noticed Susan not even coming near to our table to help us with entrees, she wouldn't even acknowledge with were there ready to order our entrees. She was very dry towards us but thought this was her personality until she turned around and smiled and was being extra nice and smily to the other 4 tables around us. I had to wave her down to let her know we were ready to order and also a few times to ask for things, it almost felt like I was asking for favors. All of our tables had their bread before the entrees and we were about to get our entrees and still no bread. Again, I had to wave down and ask for my bread and she replied "Oh, you want bread!?" Hmm okay. My boyfriend was already pissed off and I was getting annoyed even though I was trying hard not to and enjoy our evening. We got our entrees, I ordered the Mahi Mahi and coconut rice. My whole plate looked bland and tasted bland, the mango and pineapple slaw were almost the same color, not ripe and way too crunchy. The Mahi had no flavor although it was cooked to perfection. My boyfriend ordered the wild Snapper with the side salad, his food was way better than mine. Susan did not once asked come to our table to check how we were doing, but she was still around us helping the other 4 tables. She did however showed up when we were both done to remove the plates. We have both worked in the restaurant business and know how everything works or at least how it should work, and this was beyond horrible and a little hurtful because we started taking it personal of the lack of attention and rudeness while she was friendly and attentive to everyone else except us. We did want to stay for dessert but we sorta caught her talking to one of the servers while looking straight to our table so we felt even more uncomfortable. We just wanted to get the check and get out of there. The whole experience was offensive and not enjoyable at all, we actually left with a bad taste in our mouths and pissed. We dine out all the time and have never felt so unwanted and uncomfortable. We tried to looking for Milos to talk to him about our experience but we couldn't find him and we just wanted to leave. My boyfriend approached her prior to leaving and respectfully let her know of we felt about the service and that regardless of that he still decided to leave a tip for her. Not sure what happened, we are certainly not the needy or demanding type. We are both nice, and beyond respectful. We definitely won't be coming back here, there are way many restaurants that could offer a better dining experience. Very very disappointing :(

Maybe I just got the wrong food because I've had brunch at the Sarabeth's in NY and liked it there! We came here for dinner and there was already a long line outside, right when they opened! The inside is cute, as if you're eating in a quaint home. I had their bruschetta since I was pretty full from lunch but it was too...bitter/sour? I think they put an overload of sauce on my plate. The ice cream dessert was also just ok. My friend liked his salad and snapper, though.

What a great place! Inside and outside seating. GREAT 'adult cocktail' menu for brunch on Sundays! Huge coffee mugs with endless amounts of coffee coming your way, which makes me happy after a long night of drinking in Key West. I ordered the veggie and ricotta omelet with potatoes and the pumpkin muffin. My omelet was just OK for me [wouldn't order it again], the potatoes were done perfectly [on the crispy side and not oily at all], the pumpkin muffin with the homemade strawberry marmalade was to die for. Knock your socks off kind of thing. I only had a bite of it and took it home, with purchased jar of marmalade, to eat for breakfast the next day. There was just too much food! My friend ordered the Key West Pink Shrimp and bacon omelet w/ the 8 grain toast, hers was awesome. Thankfully we had pre-arranged to split our meals 50/50 so I got to eat half of hers. Not sure who SaraBeth is but Terri our waitress was amazing!!! She is one of the best servers I have had in a long time. Funny, fast, competent, HAPPY, and makes a great drink to boot! It is so nice when you get a great server, I'd go back just to sit at her table again, you guys are lucky to have her.

We usually go here for breakfast, but we stopped for dinner the other night. WOW! Sarabeth's is a must stop place for us when we visit Key West every year. Our server Ann was a delight with her charm and her attentiveness. Milosh (sp), the owner, was a breath of fresh air. He was so charming and interesting. The restaurant experience is not just about the food. It's about the experience, and Sarabeth's is the best. Now we have even more reasons (dinner) to stop here every year. Thank you Ann and Milosh, from your Philadelphia fans - Rick & ML

Followed Yelper recommendations to Sarabeths for breakfast and weren't disappointed. Only a five minute wait at 9:00 on a Friday morning. Service was friendly and attentive, ambiance was delightful. We were seated inside Our family of five tried a variety of the breakfast offerings including he Lemon Ricotta pancakes, the Shrimp and Bacon omelet, The Goldie Lox and the granola. All delicious, as was the highly recommended Four Flowers juice, although I wish there was more of the juice for the price!

I was with a party of 14 for a birthday with a bill of more than $1000. We were seated late for our reservations. Once the food arrived the server never came back to check on the food or beverages. At the end we were told they cannot separate checks unless done so at the start, yet it was never mentioned. Another server gave us a calculator! Upon talking to a manager he was actually snickering. And the food was average.

Really cool setting. Old house that has been turned into a quiet, intimate restaurant. My wife and I went for breakfast. The omelet I ordered was good, not great. My wife ordered some fancy type of French Toast and loved it. Their muffins and coffee were incredible! Service was really good. We would go back again!

We had dinner and it was one of the best meals we've had in Key West! The jalapeño mac and cheese was excellent, and the shrimp appetizer was perfect. I had the seafood cakes and my husband had the snapper - both were delicious. Not only was the food great, the service was very attentive, and really made the meal even better. We definitely will be back!

I suggested going here while we were in Key West because I had been for brunch in New York and had enjoyed it. I also remember there being a lot of vegetarian options for brunch so I didn't even bother checking before making dinner reservations. Big. Mistake. When I asked what I could have on the menu that was vegetarian, my server seemed at a loss. She finally said tomato soup and they could fix something up in the kitchen. The tomato soup was great but what they fixed from the kitchen was ridiculous. Undressed mixed greens, plain green beans, tomatoes in balsamic vinaigrette, and coconut rice. Not only does that not make ANY SENSE as a plate but it didn't taste good. Whatever they charged for it was too much.

For some reason Sarabeth's is not at the tip of my tongue as my go to breakfast place in KW.One of our guests recommended it this morning and we tried it. Like most restaurants in KW,it is expensive, but I had the Goldi Lox(scrambled eggs, lox and cream cheese). It was excellent.Wife had granola with fruit and she enjoyed it. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant. I'll have to add Sarabeth's to my list for breakfast!

After all the glowing reviews was disappointed. Friend's ricotta pancakes and french toast were good but my husband's and my omelettes were made in an omelet maker and tasted and looked like something you'd get for breakfast on an airplane. Toast was good but cold. Overpriced. Won't be back.

Last stop before we left key west this morning. The staff is very friendly, and the breakfasts election is good. We like how it was separated by savory and sweet. I had a traditional two egg breakfast with the home fries that have pepper and onion. Very tasty. The 8 grain bread was really substantial, but by far the strawberry peach marmalade was the best part. I ran out of bread, it it didn't matter, I ate the marmalade with a spoon! My other half got the key west pink shrimp omelet, and he talked about it for 100 miles.... He must have liked it! Great breakfast, especially with our favorite being just a few streets down. Now we can just choose between the two for our next trip.

I've been holding out of writing this review for a little while in hopes that Yelp would add a 6th star rating so I could really do this place justice...sadly they have not so I must go with 5. We make it down to key west several times per year. It's our happy place. Sarabeth's was an accidental discovery years ago when were were down there for a work and needed a brunch place to nurse a hangover (thanks, Rick's) on Sunday morning. I found it through yelp and it was a few blocks away so I called and managed to get a table. From the get go this place is all class and Key West hospitality. Everyone there is nice, helpful, accommodating, and full of suggestions. We have had almost everything on the brunch menu at this point and it is all delicious, just depends what you are in the mood for. The lemon ricotta pancakes and eggs Benedict are usually at the top of our list with a muffin to share. They also make one hell of a burger if you are not in the breakfast mood. The flower juice is also a MUST HAVE and I'm not really a juice person. So despite dining here several times per year we never quite caught on to the fact that they also serve dinner...huge oops on our part. On one of our recent trips down we made really crappy time and needed someplace to eat dinner and they came up as "open" on Yelp. So we called to make sure this wasn't a mistake and they said they were closing soon but they would be more than happy to seat us. When we arrived, there was the typical amazing service and we went with their recommendations for dinner. As usual, they went over the top and brought out an assortment of some soups and appetizers they had left in the kitchen as they were closing so we could give them a try. I would be lying if I said i remembered everything we ate, but I remember it all being delicious. The desserts were also fantastic (unique take on key lime pie was to die for). I can not say enough nice things about this place and the people who work there. It is a MUST on a Key West trip and we always plan on eating there at least once per trip. Also, do yourself a favor and pick up a jar of two of the jams from inside the store, it will hold you over till the next time you can make it in :)

One of the best meals we had in Key West. The goldi lox is amazing as are the lemon pancakes. Oh, and the bacon is seriously right. The outdoor area is awesome. Go here.

This place serves a fantastic breakfast. We found it on our last day in town and wish we had more days to try different options. The omelets were superb.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is awesome. The owner built it inside two houses side by side. When you walk up the stairs into the main dinning area you are in what you would think was the living room of your own home, minus the sofa with dinning tables and chairs. The service was great. Their mimosas in the early morning are awesome! I had the french toast which was different than any french toast I had ever had, but it was very good. My girlfriend had the omelette. She wasn't crazy about it. It was just "ok". There are bookshelves all around the restaurant. I enjoyed reading about Key West art while waiting for my meal. All in all I would say this place was a great experience. If given the choice I would definitely eat here again.

Sarabeth's of NYC fame came to Key West years ago and surprisingly enough I have procrastinated visiting (unfortunately each breakfast outing in town ended up at our regular places), but finally gave into temptation and rolled the dice. Driven by the historic home turned restaurant many times (after all, it's a small island). Adorable soft yellow with greenish/teal trim surrounded by a traditional white picket fence and shaded by a huge banyan tree. The interior is light, comfortable and exceptionally clean; very homey. Our arrival was welcomed by an older gent dressed like he was recently transplanted from the Hamptons. He offered us a table in the brick paverstone courtyard; we sat even though our table was up against a handicapped lift (not a big deal but not as impressive as the rest of this lovely patio area. I guess the host was on top of things and offered us a better table (we never asked and never complained but big thumbs up for being observant of your guests). Our bubbly waitress (Maggie) was gifted with a wonderful personality. She was relocated from one of the New York locations and has been here from day one when Sarabeth's decided to open in Key West in 2005. Each time I looked up she was giggling and making customers smile with her "genuine" charm. All service industry employees should strive to be this impressive. The breakfast menu offers plenty of common items with unique twists but is simple enough for anyone to be pleased. I went with the "Goldie Lox" omelet (smoked salmon and cream cheese). As for my other half, she couldn't decide between "Lemon Ricotta" pancakes or "Almond Crusted Cinnamon" french toast with apple butter and bananas. Maggie jokingly suggested to get both and my girl smiled (she has a small stomach but big eyes). Yeah, she ordered both dishes. Everything from service to food to decor and ambiance was all top notch. Haven't heard much about their lunch or dinner; they're really known for their breakfast, but it's not much of a debate to know that Sarabeth's will remain one of our regular breakfast stops.

We had dinner here and this place was ok. I imagine that being able to sit in the garden would have been nice, but we were not so lucky. Nevertheless, the food had it's high and low moments. We were there on a night when fried chicken was the special. It was good, but the tomato soup was better! That was the highlight. We also had the scallops which were also good but not great. Desserts were good too, no complaints there. The service was excellent and they are certainly proud of their establishment which shows. Overall though, it was over priced and for less money we had better meals elsewhere.

I'm not sure if the reviews really had me hype this place up before getting there,But it really wasn't what I expected. The location is very nice and the decor is very sweet. My bfs coffee mug had a lipstick stain, which is not ok considering we arrived about a half hour after they opened. I had the cinnamon french toast but I thought it was dry and my bf didn't have any major comments about his breakfast. I will note that the marmalade and the potatoes were very good.

Have been to Key West twice and have now eaten there twice. Once for dinner on the outdoor patio - best meal I have had in Key West. Had breakfast today inside, so cute! Great breakfast drink menu and special eggs Benedict was great. I would suggest over any of options to eat in Key West!!!

We had dinner with friends here last night. Two ordered the whole yellow tail fish which we had heard was a signature dish - it did not disappoint. One person had the salmon over couscous - which she also enjoyed. My husband and I ordered key west jumbo shrimp over coconut rice and sautéed spinach - disappointing for the $$. Shrimp was well prepared, tender, rice was goo, the spinach was just wilted - no seasoning. The dish was topped with a yellow cream sauce - which had no flavor. This dish needed a flavor to pick it up - just nondescript. Also for the price a piece of bread should be in order. Maybe I'll try it for breakfast - but not again for dinner. The service was impeccable !

Breakfast was good, but not great. The place is very nice and well decorated and is in a great local location and service was good also. The food was not anything outstanding though. The regular pancakes were a bit dry and the lemon ricotta had a good flavor, but the buckwheat was so much for show, it added nothing to the meal. Ham and cheese omelet was good and the veggie omelet was good also, but not really good. The eggs were a bit rubbery and internally was lacking flavor. The potatoes were good with the extra you would expect for the price; peppers. It's a little expensive after you order the extras, juice, potatoes and coffee, but not outrageous for the area. I would have gone with the special and the french toast looked good from another tables order if we would ever go back.

I've been looking forward to trying sarabeths since I haven't gotten to new York lately. We had the smoke mozzarella sandwich on 8 grain bread, lemon pancakes, four flower juice, and shrimp and bacon omelette. Delicious. The place was really empty inside and the waiter was so helpful in recommending the food. Prices are high but so is the quality of food.

When in key west sarabeth is the place to go for the best fresh fish and terrific service provided by Milish and Susan. Off the beaten track but well worth finding!

My fiancé and I make sure to visit Sarabeth's during every trip to the keys. We typically go for brunch (the muffins, fresh juice, French toast, pancakes, etc are out of this world) but tried dinner this time. The service, as always, was outstanding. We've never had anything we don't love. Their chocolate pudding and unique take on key lime pie were major highlights this time! Highly recommended!!

I've been dining at Sarabeths for 17 years and this year the menu as well as the owner has changed, and not for the better. They used to be known for home-cooking and my guests loved their meatloaf, home-style chicken, pot pie, and 4 cheese macaroni. This time the meatloaf was just okay, the pan-roasted chicken was dry, the mashed potatoes had an instant texture and taste (really, in this day of gourmet, skin-on potatoes?) and the green beans like they had been phoned in, so bland and tasteless they weren't worth eating. We were not the only ones to feel this way. The people on both sides of us had the same experience. The chef needs to bring his/her standards up to other quality Key West restaurants before he loses any more business. They did deduct the cost of one of the entrees but I would've rather had good food.

  • Noelle L.

This was the only disappointing meal of our trip. Maybe it's because my group wasn't that hungry so we opted for salads instead of their entrees. It could also be that we came for dinner and it seems like this place is more known for their brunch. I ordered their poached salmon cobb salad, minus the salmon, add poached chicken. It was okay; a bit bland. Everyone else ordered the dinner portion caesar salad. They liked it well enough. The bruschetta was good, but the Key West shrimp appetizer was awful and overpriced. Our foreign waiter, Milos, was unaccommodating and was running around with his head cut off, even though he only had 3 tables. I won't be back and won't be recommending this to anyone.

We had an amazing lunch at Sarabeths. I love the atmosphere and the staff. So friendly. The menu is filled with a great variety of choices , for all ages. The food was really fresh and everyone finished their plate! I took my friend visiting from West Palm Beach and he ended up going back before returning home. Definitely one of my favorite places to go on the island. Must try!

Delicious! We stopped here for a late lunch after visiting the Hemingway House. My friend and I LOVE Sarabeths in NYC, so we were excited to see that the owners opened up one in Key West! We both had the Key West pinks shrimp salad. It was light and seasoned perfectly with chives and celery, served on a salad. I love their lemon ricotta pancakes, but wanted to try something unique to Key West. We usually like to share, but we were both very glad to have ordered the shrimp salad! (And left space for Key Lime pie! See addtl review)

Go for a unique breakfast experience. This is a cute little "island classy" restaurant. The food served here is unique and and delicious, you're not going to find anything else like it on the island.

Not a fan. The almond crusted french toast was dry and my husband's lemon ricotta pancakes left much to be desired. A plus was the atmosphere and staff...oh and the four flowers juice. The fans circling above made everything cold quickly and for being so abundantly "fresh" oriented, the coffee was blech.

Really enjoyed this restaurant! I got homemade cereal with milk and fresh squeezed orange juice. All were great and the cereal portion was large. My husband ordered Goldie lox, which was salmon, eggs, cream cheese, sour dough toast, fruit, and Sarabeth's famous marmalade. He also ordered the four flowers juice, which was good and fresh. The service was wonderful and the restaurant was quiet around 2:00.

Enjoyed a nice brunch outside, although it was a bit crowded. I had the pink shrimp and smoked mozzarella omelette and wife had the lemon ricotta pancakes. Both meals were excellent- the potatoes were extra. Had the champagne 4 flowers and antioxidant intoxicant but somewhat expensive at 8.50/glass. Friend had the tuna salad and loved it. Worth going and expect a wait at peak times. Meant to say on my pictures of the pancakes that you couldn't really taste the ricotta cheese.

I have never been so disappointed. I have been to all of the Manhattan locations and this place was no where near the caliber of service and food. My husband is post op and in a shoulder immobilizer and we asked to sit outside out of the sun. There were 4 open tables and they would not allow us to sit at the 4 top out of the sun in case a larger party showed up. Mind you a place that takes no reservations should do first come first serve, so we were crammed in a corner in the direct sun. The next 3 groups were all parties of 2. We ordered coffee and asked for skim milk, which they do not have. What???? My almond crusted french toast came out cold and not crusted it had some sliced almonds dumped on top. My husband had an omlette which was supposed to have ham, potatoes and cheese. No potatoes and the cheese was not melted. Overall a sad disappointing meal. Stick to Manhattan

I was excited to try this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. The menu isn't extensive but it is tasty and good service. I think they could improve by installing a coffee machine for cappuccinos etc and also by serving breakfast pastries which were not avaliable. Worth a visit

Some galpals and I came here for brunch, and it took full bodily restrain to keep me from licking my plate like some kind of hungry street dog. I had the goldie lox (salmon) which was scrumptious! Good quality food and homemade orange marmalade are enough to bring me back.

Cozy lil joint few paces off duval. Had last meal in key west here on a sat brunch. The smoke salmon sandwich was delicious and suprisingly decent in size. The dressing on the side salad had great flavor as well, I think it was a soy/sesame vinaigrette but was whatever came by default. 2 year old son crushed his 3 scrambled eggs, so I will call that a ringing endorsement. Came with pumpkin muffin that dad couldnt stop helping him eat. It was not a dense cake muffin but somewhere between a biscuit and muffin with mild pumpkin flavor. Service was very friendly and prompt. This would be my first recommendation for breakfast or lunch if you're in key west.

We had dinner this time around. The main host/proprietor was not present that evening, but the stand-in hostess was great. I was not too fond of the macaroni and cheese (we ordered it as an appetizer) but the rest of my family loved it. I ordered the mahi-mahi and it wasn't great. It lacked flavor. The mango peach slaw served with it was excellent, rendering the fish edible. They know their deserts. The coconut ice cream was infused with pieces of roasted coconut, the bread pudding was light yet flavorful, and the key lime pie was exquisite (likely the best I've had in Key West). Our service was superb - very polite and vigilant waiter. All in all excellent, though a better place for lunch.

Sarabeth's was outstanding. The service from start to finish was just superb. The meal was just perfect. Had Mahi-Mahi and Salmon dishes. Both were cooked just right. For desert, bread pudding and chocolate pudding. I have to say - We have been to several places in the month spent down here; this so far has been the best food and best service hands down. Sarabeth's is far and away the winner so far. They are also dog friendly as well, so extra points there!

This is a great breakfast spot in Key West. We were seated very quickly even though the dining room is very small. We were immediately greeted by out server with a warm smile! We both ordered the French Toast and our order was served very quickly! It was a good sized portion served with wonderful strawberries on top. Looking around at other orders they were all great portions and looked delicious!

The food is ok, but the service is slow and the confines inside are ridiculously tight. Plan to hear all of your neighbor's conversation. If the table next to you has to clear while you eat, there will be a pause to let them pass. Felt like we were the viewing entertainment for the corner table.Definitely choose an outside table...or go elsewhere.

seriously great food. We drove down from Islamorada and were ready for lunch. I had the tuna, with marinated tomatoes and garlic rubbed sourdough. Amazingly good. My husband had the turkey club, kids had fluffy french toast and pancakes. Great, friendlly service. Ate on cute, shaded patio. We will be back!

*3.5 Stars* Sarabeth's is a quaint little spot that caters to the breakfast crowd...and apparently the tourists. The morning we went it wasn't too busy, thankfully, and it seemed like a bunch of locals hanging out. We sat outside near the sidewalk but it was fenced in. We didn't go crazy on ordering. We had a cup of coffee to start which was average. For our meals we decided on omelettes. I went with the farmers and she with the vegetable & ricotta. Both were good. The added bonus is you have a choice of bread side so she had the pumpkin muffin with their homemade jam (outrageous) and I had the sourdough toast (good but def not as good as the muffin). Their prices were reasonable but their service was outstanding. Our server was so friendly. Parking in KW is a bit of a pain so I recommend biking everywhere... ENJOY!

We stopped in for breakfast. I had the green and white eggs and my husband had the shrimp and bacon omelette. Bhai other came with toast and some wonderful marmalade. We also both had the antioxidant intoxicant. Champagne cocktail. All of it was great!! Decently sized portions for the price (for key west). The location is to die for. Off of Duvall in a quiet neighborhood. We went a bit late and were still seated immediately. All in all, good food, relaxing breakfast. Will revisit!

We had a very relaxing brunch here on our last day of our trip. We were promptly greeted by the owner, David and seated inside. The place has high ceilings, nice wall decor, lights and feels cozy. We ordered the champagne and four flowers juice (this one was very good - could taste the fresh fruits in it). I went with the popular choice - Lemon Ricotta pancakes and my husband ordered the Almond Crusted Cinnamon French Toast. The pancakes came with the wheat berries sprinkled over it which was unusual but added a chewy texture to the light and fluffy pancakes. The French Toast was so yummy with the apple sauce and crunchy almonds. I stole a lot from my hubby's plate. We also had a side order of pepper potatoes which added a little spice to our brunch. Give it a try and you would love the experience.

Voted best breakfast in Key West....boy were they right! Simply fresh & tasty food all around. We had the shrimp & bacon omelette, Goldie lox scramble (egg, lox & cream cheese) & the fat & fluffy French toast. Couldn't have been happier about the upbeat smiles of the server/staff nor the food itself. Certainly ranking as 'one of the best breakfasts' in our travel book. Oh, and don't forget the mimosa! From original champagne & orange juice to their delicious concoction of 'four flowers'. Overall, a great experience in this 1800s home that will make you feel right at home with a very satisfied & happy tummy!

I love this place. I miss it when i'm not there. The food is great, the host is wonderful--he really makes you feel special and like you're dining in someone's home. Breakfast and brunch are outstanding. Try the lemon ricotta pancackes (holy cow they're good) or the omlettes, or anything else on the menu--you seriously can't go wrong!

We come to Key West once or twice a year and always make it a point to visit Sarabeth's. (We also love the one in NYC!) The Key West version is always so laid back. The owner/manager really understands service. It's one of those "love what you do" kind of things. You can really tell that this place is important to him, and he is a genuine people person. Even if it's packed and there's a wait he makes you feel as if you are special and it's always worth the trip. The food is always fresh and tasty. We've had brunch, lunch and dinner here. All are delicious. The tomato soup is some of the best I have ever had. The salads are awesome. The burger is simple and delicious. It comes with gherkins (which I love). The fresh key west pink shrimps are fantastic. If you want a really nice, comfy, happy experience with good food and service that could teach almost any restaurant a lesson, I highly recommend Sarabeth's.

It is a damn shame that Sarabeth's is in Key West, about as far from San Francisco as you can be in the US. This is an exemplary restaurant - the service is attentive without being intrusive, and the food is fantastic. The tomato soup is astounding, the mac and cheese creative and the desserts moan-inducing, especially the Key Lime Pie. I don't like bread pudding, but my partner says Sarabeth's has the best around.

My very favorite resturaunt in Key West. While we were there we had breakfast at Sarabeths twice as well as dinner one night. The owner was there each time and treats everyone like an old friend. The food is absolutely wonderful. I can not recomend this place any more highly!
